@crazybeyblademan well its not for everyone. Its not a fighting or action story (although there are occasional brawls) - its a love story. But dont misunderstand when I say that. Its very tragic and, at the same time, very beautiful. Filled with gut-wrenching deaths, tear jerking back stories, and heart-felt love scenes Clannad is one of the best animes I have ever seen (Id stick with it until you get to the end of Fuko and if you still don't like it then its not for you)

@NuggetSandwich Nina represented the helplessness of a child from the evils of alchemy, as well as the strive for success and fool-hearted decisions of a desperately blind man (Shao Tucker.) She was an innocent child who lost her mother and had only the company of her dog Alexander. She was a sad character to begin with, and it only made things more sad when Shao transmuted her and Scar killed her. She does not need to be the highlight of the show to be part of one of the most dramatic scenes.

This is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. There is a series that comes before this one, but it veered off from the original manga. Brotherhood follows the manga, so I suggest you watch it if you want a more accurate story.

Both are really amazing animes. This one, Brotherhood, touched my heart more, however.
