wow, not very "deadhead" in the chat, brothers... Certainly not the attitudes I remember at the shows. Not point in arguing, it was all great and beautiful music (except maybe "Samba in the Rain" lol). The worst Dead show was still a great concert and a great time. RIP Vince. RIP Brent, RIP Keith, RIP Pigpen and RIP Jerr-bear.
clearly you are a little pussy who like i said just does not get it.So go get your 199o's grateful dead that in your eye's is wonderful and listen, and then go get your vince welnick compilation and listen to that.don't bother with the latest road trips either it is tried and true grateful dead, stuff that is a little to deep for ya. so in closing you are just another touch of grey pussy,i am glad you were not around in the mid 70's when i was digging REAL grateful dead.
@coyote023 Do You Understand? Well clearly yes fag i do just because YOU Dont like the grateful Dead In The 80-95 years means we all have to listen to YOU BITCH ABOUT THE HEAT? what YOU DONT UNDERSTAND IS THE GRATEFUL DEADS BEST Years Where In 80-95 So sMake A Journal And Write All your Whines in it so i dont have to see them on the Computer You Jerk!!
@mkonjhg1 ok loser i will give you 5 minutes of my time to explain what a dork you are.First off 1980 until1985 was still real nice.1986 was a wash and when garcia came back in december with a few garcia band shows i was glad i traveled the 3500 miles to catch them and stayed for the new years shows.1987 until brent checked out was still real good. When vince came it was game OVER. Jerry did not even want to be there,he turned his own guitar down in the mix.From'90 till'95 the band was pathetic
@coyote023 You Know After All Of This I Can Say It Was Sad When Brent Was Gone But Still So Many Roads Wouldnt Have Been Made And Much More I Guess, Im Sorry Okay I Dont Like To Fight On Grateful Dead Vids. Its Not LIke Them, Brent Once Says: Touch of Gray) Ya The Song Is Saying WE Will get Bye, Like WE ALL WILL GET THERE AMD SURVIVE! It Really Touches Home. So once Again Im Sorry
@mkonjhg1 No problem bro we are cool. I know i come across as a snob when it comes to the grateful dead ,but with literally thousands of miles and brain cells that i burnt from 1977 till the end sometimes i take it the wrong way when i these younger people that only caught '90's GD try to say how great the show's with vince welnick were and how the whole scene is so cool.Truth be told the last 5 years of the dead we stayed in our hotel till showtime just to miss all those people. PEACE godbless
NO WAy! it is a fact that the Deads best years were with Keith Godchaux. Just look at all the Dicks Picks that were pulled from that era. Yes to each there own, but the mid to late 70's is when all their best material was written and the band couldn't be tighter. They didn't have many bad nights in 77', can you say the same for the eighties?
coyote023 does not like the show because it was hot outside? I was there and in 87 too with Dylan. The 89 show was infinitely better and the band was in absolutely top form for the era. Sounds like a poser to me.
Of all the shows gdp has they could not find something better than this? That day it was easily 97 degrees in the shade the sound was really weak. And while i am bitchin' there was many many a show that i saw camera's on the side of the stage as well as down in front and most importantly the music was waaayyyyy tighter. If they wanted to film at jfk why not put out the show with bob dylan similar weather better sound and the music was 100 times cooler.
@mkonjhg1 First of all loser it is more than obvious you just don't get it,so i will keep it simple.you and the jackass kingsteak99 should hang out because he is as clueless as you.Do me a favor explain to me what was''wonderful'' about this show ? In 1987 when dylan used the dead as a backing band is far and away superior. So now go listen to your vince welnick 90's lameness.3/24/73,9/21/73,the tower theatre shows 4/5 and4/6/82,the cvic center in'74 and'84 the 6 shows in'85 all to deep 4 you.
@coyote023 Clearly Your A Dick So if You Dont Like the Dead THAN WHY ARE YOU POSTING SHIT ON THIS MASTERPIECE, DO YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT THIS CONCERT? EVERYTHING SO GO FUCK YOURSELF JACKASS

This was awesome. I saw this at a local theatre it was amazing. Although I never saw the dead Live, this was truly a fantastic experience for me.
