hey man i caught my first bonefish on fly here too. i caught a 6 pounder along the flat. i also landed a blacktip shark around that little patch of mangrove trees. I would go back to bitterend yacht club in a heartbeat. beautiful place
Congrats. That's way it's called fishing and not catching. Great effort there, particularly going sans guide. Can't say they are always the biggest help. But I'll take them most times.

Great bonefish, nice job. I caught my first bonefish a few weeks ago in the Florida
keys without a guide. Hooked 5 and landed 2.

caught a 8.5 pounder here in hawaii....
using 7 ft light tackle daiwa rod with pen reel (live bait
get live bait specially shiny ones on the side then just throw umm out no need lead sinkers just line and hook will do fine
