THANKS manjia, your songs and videos are WONDEFUL visions of Joy and Peace, I've included some in my playlists just recently. If you ask me, I'd LOVE to hear your violin cover, this is such a beautiful piece of music...but the track is definitively not mine (alas!), it's by a very famous rocker in Italy: LIGABUE (that's his YouTube channel name too, if you want to search it).

The lyrics are about Italy, and the song is like a lullaby he would sing to her when the night falls...a sort of disenchanted acknowledgment of her numerous qualities and hundreds of flaws. I put it up on the 150th anniversary of what is commonly considered the unification of Italy (1861-2011).
