They were all friends from way back when. She never RECORDED with them but she did sing with them. And she is not impersonating JoJo..JoJo isn't touring with The MJ Girls so Val took her place. He found Candi and Maxi at a strip club in LA and Cheri at a 7-11. JoJo and Water Sisters (Session Singers) are the True MJG.The others couldn't sing. Band sang for them on tour. JoJo is the MJG. Val can't tour on her own music so she is trying to steal someone else's work. Check the facts!!!

Val is a very talented singer and a very beautiful person. Her long impressive resume goes back to George Clinton/Parliament -Funkadelic as she was a "Bride of Funkenstein". Then she went out on her own and created some very good music herself. And her voice is very distinctive. One of a kind. I love Val and I had the opportunity to go out to dinner with her when she was living in Buffalo NY many years ago........Much props and much love to Val.......Haters keep hatin cause that all yall can do.

How many records of yours are played ont the radio or in the clubs to this day???!!! NONE!!!!!!! Whether she goes on tour alone or part of an entourage, she has TALENT and that is lacking these days. those that know and arent just talking out the side of theyre necks would know that Rick james himself put Val in the lead vocal slot for the Mary Jane Girls.. JoJo waas already gone, and that was one of ricks last deeds before he died, he loved Val, so only those with knowledge need comment on the situation, I know, I was, and still am there!

You must be on the same crack pipe that Rick was using. As cracked out as Rick was he never put VAL in to replace JoJo. i HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE. I remember her vivdly, although I didn't know this was her song. She did BGV for practically everyone. And I see why Val's voice is great. My GODmother's sister has that "Seduction" album. I would have loved to give it a listen, but I never saw it again. It is extremely rare. Val Young, what a TALENT, very original.

Val Young is a very underrated singer i am around your age so i do know how much you think the artist that is around your time is an original but majoirty of the artists today really do copy from singers of the past.
