Let me get this straight. Left 4 Dead was created by Turtle Rock studios, then half way through development they joined Valve and continued development on the game with Valve. Am I right? If not please correct me.

This game is soo fun, but only if you have friends to play it with you, if you don't, it will get old, fast. I have played this game at least an hour or 2 almost every day since it came out, mainly because of the great people I met on it. Oh and Valve already stated their views on the ps3 and said it was a waste of time. But not to worry, EA might come out with some crappy port like they did with the Orange Box to make some extra cash off of this game.

I hate how people are passing judgment on L4D 2 and the current L4D. For L4D 1 Valve really wanted to make the game fun easy and have lots of high moments. For testing they took people who wouldn't buy this type of game and had them test it. They really listened to their input and converted it into a hardcore feel so that it appealed to all crowds.

i remember neatly designed packages, actually including a handbook! thats right...a HANDBOOK! PRINTED! not some pdf files on a DVD in a bulk case. some games even had maps and even design sketches (not jpeg or online). at least valve included the designer commented gameplay mode, that shows that they care about their gamers...aww, i´m getting old and disgruntled ;)
