  • "Cool" indeed - great work! Tim

  • really nice iglu,

  • the one i made with the inuit of Gjoa haven used the hole that we'd dug the blocks out from to form teh centre of the iglu without the need to dig any further snow...hard work! nice video though and would love to learn some skills frm Mors. candles are enough to heat...or at least would be if i'd filled in the gaps around the blocks properly! :)

  • A real iglu would have the floor dug out about 4 to 5 feet just in case you guys want to build one.

  • Nice one, you use candles to heat?

  • nice iglu, was it hard to make? 5/5

  • Thank you.

With the right snow (wind packed) and once you have the Knack of placing the blocks correctly, its a relatively easy and very efficient shelter to build. But it requires quite a bit of practice to master, I had the benefit of Mors Kochanski's experience, without whose assistance it would almost certainly have been a complete failure!

  • nice of Mors Kochanski to help you out, :0)

i have never make a iglu, it should be fun to try that out some day,

  • @WorldwildTV I live in Alberta, i want to take that winter course badly, unfortuneatly its december, ahort notice, and ill probably have to wait until next year
