Advance Wars 2: Delta Heights - Olaf vs. Max and Grit

Hello all. I am trying to play Olaf and make him my main CO, however i am confused on how to use him right. You cant just overwhelm the enemy with force, b/c all he does it make it snow.... Does anyone have any tips for him?

Olaf can be a bit hard to play because he has no significant strenghts. That's why I chose him for this vid (challenging and stuff). But on the other hand, he's got no real weaknesses either (except for rain, try to avoid fighting Drake with him). So you've got a good allrounder.Still, you have to rely on good tactics because of Olaf's lack of any really "crushing" skills.

However, don't underestimate the snow he summons, it can greatly impede the enemy's army, especially in rougher terrain (or sea and air). And you can save up your energy for the SCOP and deal 2 damage to all enemy units plus 10% offence bonus for your troops. To wrap it up, Olaf is not well used as a "hammer", blindly dashing forward, but if used farsightedly, using his CO Powers to hit the enemy in critical moments, you've got a solid, allround, very annoying (for the enemy) CO.
