Marine Stewardship Council - certification standards
If you have anything to say Know what your talking about, this Fishery is managed by the State and the feds have thier hands in it to they have given the fishermen a very small area to fish in and continue to make it harder for them to make a living due to bycatch and other limitations, you the ones who need to be heard get off your asses get up there hit the docks and make a trip with someone and see what these guys go thru to make a living before you make a statement.
Depopulation of the entire human race (except for me) is the only answer. We must erase the human parasite plague which endlessly leeches upon our limited resources. We Greenpeace Elite shall eradicate Global Warming, snuffing out the human life whoes very breath suffocates our Goddess Earth. With your help, we'll create a better pandemic, a more lethal virus, a deadlier plague, in hopes that one day the disease called Humans, are utterly extinct. Because the world is a better place without YOU!
Greenpeace should be ashamed of itself. They have zero credibility with fisheries scientists. The Alaska pollock resource is recognized internationally as well-managed. If you really care about oceans-and you should!! don't give a penny to these guys. Try Cousteau society or Marine Conservation Society instead.
I have a great idea, All you lib greenies stop eating and die and leave the rest of us alone! Then you won't be suffering with all of your hate for everyone and everything. You will be much happier if you just die.
Nobody has to be a "liberal" to care about the environment. Everbody would suffer from a disappearance of wild fish. Using a little self control when it comes to buying fish products will prevent the emptying of the oceans so that we will be able to enjoy eating fish for at least a few more generations. At current trends, these next few decades will be the last for the consumption of wild-caught fish. Don't you want to be able to eat fishsticks 30years from now?
I hope they eventually realize that they're putting their livelihoods at risk--not to mention the fish population and the ecosystems affected by overfishing!
