Believe me, he understood what he was doing and why he did it and who he did it in front of - all strategic. He knows this shit works! Bush is stupid, but he's not that stupid. People hear Obama wants to talk to our enemies, and he's a muslim, and his middle name is Hussein, and all of these other non-issue issues and that is all it takes. We are a stupid people at our core, and we kind of enjoy our ignorance. Life is easier when you're tuned out.
