first is the most important, a real monster hunter fan doesn't care what system it's on, because they love monster hunter... not the system...

and the HD version isn't a game that is utilizing the PS3's full power, it's just a version of mhp3rd that's been slightly improved using the ps3's HD capabilities

Monster hunter has definitely changed since I started on mhfu for the psp. I remember when mh3 came out for the wii, me and the TRUE mh gamers easily made a switch to play it, those sad sony elitist fanboys refused calling it a kiddy system and the worst mh ever. then mhp3rd was announced for psp and the sony fanboys shit theyre pants even though mh3 and p3rd were essentially going to be the same but without UW gameplay and then booed when it never was localized and then they shit theyre pants

Not only do you have framerate problems, but also HUD problems, getting kicked randomly out lobbies, no messaging system AT ALL, LONG load times, unstable connections, glitchy games in which even entire characters turn invisible, adhoc only. Sounds like a cheap cash-in port that even struggles to run decently. Stay THE FUCK AWAY from this game.

@maxiromer95 it's called portable 3rd, that means if anything, will most likely be Monster Hunter Freedom 3, as portable 2nd was Freedom 2, so most likely just PSP again, but perhaps PS3 as well, wouldn't count on it

Many people think that localization is simply translation, but the important parts are trying to alter those themes that you were referring to, so that they will fit in a different culture. Secondly, the main reason that it is not being localized is because of Sony (not Capcom). Sony is reluctant to update Adhoc Party which is currently REQUIRED for MHP3rd (and HD version) to play multiplayer.
