  • Does anyone know the song playing at 49:41 :)

  • i enjoyed this vid

  • I enjoyed this very much. Thanks for posting it.

  • It is a pretty good Documentary. BBC does a great job again =)

  • Wonderfull! I throughly enjoyed this. Great soundtrack too!

  • Just wonderful. The climax at Lud Church is just brilliant - a favourite poem and a favourite place.

  • What a treasure here. Thank you for this upload. One can approach this work from so many angles, and this documentary is thorough and engaging.

  • what was that song

  • The song at 7:56 is Of Moons, Birds and Monsters by MGMT@Artisanprophet

  • Good documentary. Excellent soundtrack!

  • Right, because Atmosphere by Joy Division is an example of 'bad taste in 80's music'... Face it, you know nothing.

  • @TenWhoWereTaken ....never heard of joy division before....started listening and now an instant fan.. that song was very complementary and appropriate choice for this documentary ....

  • Naice documentary! :P I do like the poem 'Gawain and the Green Knight'..! :-)

  • Why did he have to get some wack job to talk about the stupid fucking well?

  • the fish at the banquet looks good hmhmmm

  • 05:04 - isn't that the same symbol as the one on Thor's hammer?

  • Don't know how it's spelled, but that phrase "lakin' about" was used in the speech of a Dalesman in "All Creatures Great and Small"...makes one wonder at the regional duration of some of these words.

  • brilliant

  • Where the F""" is KEMELOT?

  • @believerornot Camelot. No one knows. From literature, it is assumed it is or was somewhere in England. However, there is no proof to support that even King Arthur existed.

  • @kirikakirikakirika I was being facetious regarding the presenter's accent. Sorry man, didn't think anybody would take me seriously.

  • @believerornot Lol, oh. Well you never know nowadays. When I was in grade 11, there was a kid in my las who thought the Titanic was a myth. 0_0

  • @kirikakirikakirika I know what you mean. I knew a girl once who on seeing an elephant in the zoo said.. OMG I didn't know they were real, I thought they were only in CGI!!

  • @believerornot OMG. Really? Oh, dear... Now she probably thinks the aliens she sees in movies are real. :P

  • I recently read JRR Tolkien's essay on this poem. He seems to think its all about answering a "higher law" than medieval court chivalry and sees it as maybe the beginning of modern philosophical ethics (another to add to that list the guy says at the beginning) Very interesting documentary

  • This dude talks like he's gazing in wonder at something

Wow... Gawain... Green Knight... poem... awesome... sublime...

  • @kozmon0t He's interested in the subject to a deeper level than barely passive?! BLASPHEMY!

  • @SmashAttackOnline I mean he narrates like William Wordsworth reciting a poem.
