"The aromatic terpenoids begin to vaporize at 126°C, but the more bio-active cannabidiol (CBD), Cannabinol (CBN), and delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) do not vaporize until near their respective flash points: CBD 206.3°C, CBN 212.7°C, and THC 149.3°C" - Wikipedia
So set yours 215C if you want the CBD & CBN to vaporize as well. 212C = 413F
@GoTDaTFiREMaYnE lmao now im disappointed, my friend just pointed out that the person in the video has boobs and the man talking is behind the camera :(
If you buy this vaporizer you would be best served buying some rubbing alcohol to clean the screen as well. There's a serious design flaw in this (IMO) that makes your herbs clog up the screen on a constant basis. I almost took mine back before realizing how bad the screen gets clogged and how to fix it. If anybody knows something I don't I'm all ears, but in the meantime just be prepared to get extremely frustrated by the ever clogging screen in the whip.
@theconservativelib I can't disagree that screens need to be cleaned often. The good news is that a set of 4 (2 dome, 2 flat) are only $5. I have about 20 sets and once I clog up 15 or 18 I clean them all together in boiling salt water and then rubbing alcohol. Instead of getting frustrated, just buy some extras and schedule a cleaning day once a quarter. It's not perfect, but it sure beats "extreme frustration"!
@VaporizersDirect Yeah you're right that would help ease some of my frustrations. To be honest, I should have explained myself better. It's when I'm actually using this thing that the screen gets clogged up and that's where the rage starts. I don't pack the herbs very tight so they're kind of loose and then they end up getting clogged in the screen mid-session. I know it could be worse but to have to stop and grab that hot piece and clean it out is very frustrating. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.
Got one of these for my birthday. Best investment in terms of a vaporizer in my opinion. High-quality, bags and whip, cool blue light :P - about as noisy as a computer fan, so not very. If you are deciding to purchase either this or the volcano but are turned off by the cost ineffectiveness of the volcano, you will not be disappointed one bit with this unit!
I can agree that you shouldn't waste your money buying cheap vaporizers, but the vaporizers you're talking about aren't what we consider "top quality" ... that's how we've built our brand - we only sell the best, but we don't sell any of those that you're talking about because they don't meet our standards.
@VaporizersDirect - ohhh right on, I totally understand what your saying, what I wrote was for others to see the good names of vaporizers instead of sinking there money into somthing like the "IsoVape" from china which is 30 bucks online and 200 at a shop, its bad, and i have my ExtreamQ on its way to me as i type, sold my volcano to get this, Ill never get rid of my VaporBrothers just like ill never get rid of my ExtreamQ, i love them both for 2 totally different reasons. my 2 favorite!
Fly-by-night operators damage reputations of good vaporizer companies by selling garbage vapes which people end up usually purchasing as their "first vape" and then providing 0 customer service. Their customers have a bad experience and tell their friends vaporizing sucks. Those of us with quality vaporizers KNOW that vaporizing is the sh*T. Spread the word; it's like everything else - buy a yugo, it's gonna suck. Buy an Extreme, Zephyr, V-tower, you get great vapor!
Was there a problem with the original screen? The upgrades dont seem very major other then the quieter fan which would be nice for filling up bags. Correct me if i am wrong
The new display looks a bit cooler; clearer, easier to read. The quiet fan motor is nice, as is the faster warm up time. All in all, it's a worthy upgrade! (we think)
Actually the Extreme remote and the Extreme Q remote are exactly the same. (even work interchangeably between the old Extreme and the new Extreme Q) The v-tower does not come with a remote.
the remote on the extreme q does look a little different in the vid than the extremes but i was just wondering if its range was longer cause the remote range on the extreme sucks to me
At this time we don't, but if you're willing to be a guinea pig, we'll make you the first; just drop us an e-mail from the web site and we can chat - our shipping specialists from FedEx are all going to be here on Wednesday.
Bah, i just bought a Vapir O2 mini and quickly discovered i have to have a unit with a fan. Is this really as primo and it seems? Well worth the 250ish I'll have to spend?
Damn, I didn't know this came out.. I just picked up my extreme from a local smoke shop... Anyway, I'm going to enjoy it no matter what.. Way better features and price from the "top model"
Improvements too numerous to mention, 27 upgrades in all. Redesigned and reengineered with focus on even higher quality, improved performance and longevity."

why is the remote on the Q so much bigger than the one the V comes with?
does it's remote have a longer range?
