@Rollthebuddah honestly ur better off not watching the anime. If u have even a remote interest in this then read the manga, anime is useless except for the fight scenes. Its average story wise but still attention grabbing. It leaves u wanting more tho its not addicting. The ending tho leaves more to be desired. But the graphics,boobies,fight scenes are pretty good. But if ur into character development or a excelent storyline then this is not for u. its average in both of them.

@Rollthebuddah read the manga. The anime drastically tones down the action/violence and even the crude humor and sexual content (dialogue, tongue-in-cheek jabs at blatant fanservice and actual sex scenes) as well as some of the more serious subject matters (drug abuse, rape, depression etc). Plus the manga is just plain batshit insane whereas the anime is feels like a generic action show with poor fanservice.

The problem with anime is that there is no closure even with the 2 OAV's. Other than that the fights look brutal and the story is ummm, kinda dull for the most part anyway. still awesome fight make up for it.

others had them in for others reasons but it's not all that uncommon for non japanese in anime these days =P

but to have a black main main character is rare
