@TheExtremeSpeeder You can only use the wii-mote but once you get used to it, nothing even comes close to how great the overall control is. It's perfect.

480i is hardly hi res, wii is ok on a small tv but not a hdtv. is you want to play racing games get a ps3 i have a wii and the only game i bought for it is the NEW SUPER MARIO BROS and its awesome, other then that i have roms and dosbox and that type of stuff on it
@ryanThornhill1 I have a 32in Sharp Aquos lcd widescreen and it looks fine. I don't care which system a racing game is on, as long as it looks good and is fun to play. Most of the games are 1080p on my xbox, doesn't stop me from playing wii titles.
if your television was 42 like mine it would make a bigger difference. although standing in front of a television that big makes for a better experience when playing wii sports, also i dont buy wii games only the one mentioned above since they tend to be geared towards younger audiences. for example when i had xbox 360 i had 44 games but now i have 21 ps3 games and 1 wii game and 1 GC game for wii
Oh, and there is no real game on xbox or ps3 with real 1080p. Thats a dirty lie xD only some games on xbox live or psn. Other than that, they are 720p. Upscaling is not the same :)

@times9 What the hell is that suppose to mean? I have played motorstorm and I like it but I found this way more fun. Have you even played Excite Truck? They are totally different styles of the racing genre that each offer a different gaming experience, I feel sorry for you if you look down upon a creative work because of a comparison to something else. That's like bashing other fantasy novels just because you think one that you read is better.
It sure was, they discontinued making it pretty quick after the release. Not many people know about it, but it's one of the best racing games out there. A lot of fun. Just wish Nintendo had online support for it, that would be amazing.

The graphics in the water look phenominal; thoes Sharp Aquos really do make any picture look better with that "quattron" technology it uses.

You can use a memory card to play music off, which is sweet because the music for the game is not so great.

Excite Truck is the only game I am aware of that allows you to play your own mp3's during gameplay. Too bad it's not an option for all games :(
