the install takes about 500mb, but you can install to a SDHC of flash drive.

Why would you run Quake 3 when you can run Open Arena for free? Did I mention that it supports the standard resolution the the Eee uses? It also runs natively on Linux.

r_mode 1

to get right resolution for eee

and you don´t need to overclock for this game

I just used cg_drawfps to test, since I don't have any demo files to do average max fps. Running around in corridor levels it's up around 80-90 fps. In a firefight with me and two bots it dropped down to around 50, but I didn't see it drop below that. It's very playable, and there's no visible lag.
