This boring little shit almost (ALMOST) ruined the amazing Lord of the rings trilogy. I fucking hated him being in it, and haven't seen him in anything else because I would refuse to watch it. But Lord of the rings was such an amazing trilogy that I managed to suffer through his (incrediably long fucking boring scenes).

@angels77100 well without his character...there wouldn't be much for anyone else in the trilogy to do. i think he was incredible in it. cant imagine anyone else giving life to such an important character from LOTR. Peter Jackson thanked HIM over and over --he was so thrilled with what he brought to the role as the star of such a big project. he nailed it. and he was only 18 when he starred and lead the biggest trilogy of our time. quite the task. quite the accomplishment. quite the actor.

@foxpawz Yes I agree. On reflection I couldn't possibly imagine anyone else doing that role and actually managing to convincingly pull it off as well as Elijah Wood did. I'm retracting my previous statement as I realize I was completely wrong in my judgement of Wood (in LOTR). It's the best trilogy I've ever watched and it is in a large part thanks to his superb portrayal of Frodo. So you're absolutely right, and I'm just being a complete moron posting what I posted earlier about Wood.
