When Bush sent five additional Brigades to Baghdad in "The Surge", Harry Reid and the Liberals condemned it. Guess what? The surge was a success, and it denied terrorists safe haven. In 2008, Al Qaeda moved its operations from Iraq to Pakistan, thus exposing our vulnerability in Afghanistan in 2009. Those damn facts ALWAYS get in your way.

Texas is the second most populated state in America, and she could not get over 3 million of the 25 million to vote for her (she barely got 2.5 million votes). Earth to the Liberal Left, Afghanistan did not heat up until JAN 2009. I am not sure if you remember, but in 2006 IRAQ was basically falling into the Abyss. When Bush sent five additional Brigades to Baghdad in "The Surge", Harry Reid and the Liberals condemned it. Guess what? The surge was a success, and it denied terrorists safe haven. In 2008, Al Qaeda moved its operations from Iraq to Pakistan, thus exposing our vulnerability in Afghanistan in 2009. Those damn facts ALWAYS get in your way.

Unfortunately she is my senior senator, and I have to say that Hutchison SUCKS as a senator, she has done nothing to help us out in this state. But no worries, she will be going into retirement sooner than she wants! Gonna be a good day in Texas when she is out.

No, she's a straight up liar right down to her core! She said she was stepping down to run for governor. Then she began losing by double digits against him (which she still is behind by that much to this day). Then she said she was staying to fight healthcare... ha, yeah right. Then she said she is stepping down no matter the outcome in March. For the record I don't believe her because she's a liar and Rick Perry IS going to clean her clock come March.

Why does Texas keep voting for her as senator? They've re-elected her like 2 or 3 times. In fact, she got over 60% of the vote last time. Does she have the people of Texas fooled or something? She's never had a challenge, that's why. She would call herself a Republican, and could hide it really well until now. She has shown herself, and will not ever hold office again. And she thinks she'll win against Rick Perry... that is laughable. I can honestly say, and I'm really not just saying this because I hate her, but I really never cared to know what she was up to so I can't speak for the rest of Texans. Something else you have to keep in mind. Texas is the second most populated state in America, and she could not get over 3 million of the 25 million to vote for her (she barely got 2.5 million votes). Quite honestly, people just don't vote, especially not for a Senator. Tough stuff but they just don't care enough (even though I think it's important). But they ONLY reason she could ever win in the first place is because she was never challenged.

this is no winning in Afghanistan. it was the straw that broke the back of the Soviet Union in the 80s, partly due to our involvement with money, weapons and training given to the Taliban then. we made the situation worse and now we're going to fix it? no way. where Iraq has the possibility of working out in the future, Afghanistan is entirely different.

One might even speculate that his ulterior motive is to support the U.S. democratic party by providing them with an easy way to discredit any opposition. After all, it's easier to for you to accuse someone of watching fox news than it is to actually have to defend the democrats.

What people call liberal in the US is not the same as what people in Europe call liberal for instance. there is no such thing as 'unbiased'.. there is only varying bias' and outright lies.
some see a half full cup, some see a half empty cup.
if you want to find the middle ground, check out BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera and Xinhua for each story, and the unbiased news is somewhere in the middle.
