Wow, that's cheap. Sure Great Puma puts up a fight but I had absolutely no problems beating him clean, 1-2-3 in the middle of this very ring....when I was 8 years old.
i remember a really lame rumor that said Puma was invulnerable to any move or strike, except if you use Kin Korn Karn and do his chop, then his kick to set up any moves. first time I reached him, I used King Slender and destroyed him!
@bubufubu Turbo is a possibility, I loved the NES Max controller. Destroyed may be stretching the truth a bit, but I did beat him. I handled every match in pretty much the same manner...punch, kick, basic move like the body slam...then more involved moves like suplex and piledriver. I hated going outside, since the game would cheap shot me into getting counted out.
Awesome, nice to see someone remembers Great Puma wasn't as tough as everybody seems to remember. This was the same strategy for beating him given by Jeff Rovin in How to Win at Nintendo Games 3. It's cheap, but effective.
Too funny. I love how the wrestlers aren't smart enough to learn from previous wrestlers mistakes.
Great job!
What did you use to record from your computer?

Fighter Hayabusa? I would've used either the agile luchador Starman or the criminally insane Amazon.

How did you destroy him with Slender? Did you beat him straight up using an array of moves? Did you take him outside? Cheap him off the ropes?
Did you use turbo?

I had this game when I was a kid. The only way I could beat it was with a game genie lol.
