im going to the pensacola navarre beach area on august first and i want to fishing on the beach i just want to catch some fish i dont care what kind or what size... what is the most consistent way to catch fish? will dead shrimp work. what kind of live bait can i buy that will catch fish? any other tips to catching fish off of the surf? THANKS
if all you want to do is catch something, 1 thing this i can tell you that always works for me is: buy some live or dead fish, cut it in half and cast it out into the surf. your will almost always catch a shark. make sure you have a decent pole and wire leader though so you can actually reel it in. gl!
@rteballers : use squid (can be bought at Publix or Tom Thumb), or take a little dip net, and dig for sand fleas in the surf, those work well, should catch some catfish, ladyfish, pompano, bluerunner, possibly some baby sharks. Highly recommend throwing it out as far as you can, be sure to use wire leader and 2-3 oz pyramid weight
hey just a quick qu, how come u didn't decide to put both the kite and bait on the one line instead of using a release clip? thinkin bout gettin a kite setup myself n just gatherin info cheers
