Pretty small 'orchestra' LOL. It's a string quartet plus piano. It's pleasant enough but without Bonham, without JPJ's solo, and without the words and the way Plant sings them, you're missing most of what lifts the song above the ordinary.

I'm seeing this song from a different perspective. I have been a serious Zep fan for about 10 years. Jimmy is a spiritual person... and his guitar sound is spiritual. I think there is an element of heart break in his songs and in his playing. I think he is in perpetual mourning over something. Just listen to "Ten Years Gone", (guitar solo). Maybe Jimmy was given a gift to play guitar, (no one should be able to play like that), and he feels he didn't offer it back up.

Some will have to mature before they understand that the arrangement is superb enough that playing instruments crafted over 200-500 years ago you can still feel the essense...puts a much better perspective on the quality of some of the Rock and Roll pieces.... makes me imagine what geniuses like Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, etc would have thought of this and what they would have done with Electric guitars,syntheizers and such....agree with one thing Piano would be nice in this.....

This was so beautifully done. I would rather listen to this version than the original. So much rock music translates so elegantly to orchestral compositions, and Led Zepplin’s music translates well to orchestra.
