You did a good job on the cage! I had a Ruppell's parrot but took it to a sancturay where it can fly free and breed. I have only budgies now, and two dogs. Your dog is very special too! I love Alexandrines, they can talk very well.
yeah, love great danes. what dogs do you have? as for my parrot, it landed up in my garden one day, and when i tried to let her go, she would just fly a few metres, and land on the ground again. moreover, there were almost 20 crows after her. so realised that trying to set her free might kill her. she might even be from someone elses house, from where she might've escaped. anyway, a lot of people, and now you, have told me that they talk well. lets see if i can teach her a thing or two.
I think Simba wants to eat the bird...I don't think they are best friends :)

mostly, simba is really jealous when i divert any of my attention to my parrot:)

My dogs do the same thing around my birds. They whine whenever I'm near the cage or holding one.

thanks...the cage was DIY. its an alexandria parrot, also called a parakeet. do you have any birds?
