  • I'm addicted to this music ! :D

  • Nielsens UT Movie <3

  • @asasasasas5011 I'd go to that party!!!

  • if you like this song and you are a woman, you didnt get it, at all.

  • @Therealguy78666 lol hes got more cred in his little finger than MM, and musically has nothing or little to do with aphex, he was popular here before MM and omg you have 666 in yr username, what are you 12?

  • @xxtiaan HAHAHAHA you are awesome

  • @Therealguy78666 Hardly. I'm fans of all three, mostly Alec Empire and Aphex Twin. Manson can't hold a candle.

  • I clicked on this expecting hyper-modern jazz, what the fuck is this mainstream shit?

  • I love Satan!

  • AWESOME

  • I love this!!

  • [ fascinated by the black Marilyn ]

  • i hate this!!

  • what about the copy and paste of "The Matrix" soundtrack from 2:01 to 2:19?

  • Comment removed

  • @Zockham The whole video is done Matrix style. The sample is intentional.

  • An Hammersong

  • he is quoting iggy pop and has spoken about it in many interviews I read. that is totally legit imo . trent reznor has been quoting his band atari teenage riot in starfuckers, sleigh bells in riot rythm and so on. everybody does it. and he is doing it in a cool way and respecting his influence by mentioning iggy everywhere.

  • It's not a ripoff in any way. There are two obvious and intentional similarities to the Stooges song: the first line of the lyrics and the sounding of the verses. But the melody of the verses is an intentionally fucked up version the Stooges' tune, in the very cold sounding and rarely used C# scale.

So these are all just references that don't make the track any less original.

  • @schmendriks bullshit! trust me bro there's no biggest freedom than admitting to be bounded...

  • 'a hard diss to all females' ? this is the hardest anthem to all females!

  • If you are female, and you like this song, you are a fucking retard and didnt get it at all.

this is a hard , hard diss to all females

  • Justin Bieber

  • Atari Teenage Riot is on tour in November 2010: UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria! New album on Dim Mak / DHR in 2011!!! check out their website atari-teenage-riot . com

  • Fuckin song by a fuckin guy!

  • "It doesn't matter what I believe" - sampled from Trinity from The Matrix

  • @Communistlolis this song existed before the movie man.

  • Comment removed

  • this man has inspired more artists than any other band around. amazing stuff

  • @riotgrrl1986 definitely inspired me more than any other band in the world

  • damn alec empire in this video is the definition of FIERCE

  • black marilyn monroe

    elvis

    clones

    zombies

    all velues are here

    alec man who see

  • BLACK MARILYN MONROE

    ELVIS

    CLONS

    MASSMEDIA

    ZOMBIES

    ALL VELUES ARE HERE

    ALEC MEN WHO SEE

  • go nic endo!

  • Shite? Vehement response. For an artist who made it without ever selling out or without having a corp recording company. When soul is not enough, its time for you to get your spice girl's record out. Where's your Art and your contribution?

  • I love Alec but this is fucking shite

  • I want breakcore man!

  • it´s just my imagination or he has a lot of similarities with trent reznor?

  • @bunglefnm I was just thinking that. I agree dude.

  • @anirbanmukhop yeah, but is good music i like the golden forestate of heaven it´s a good album from alec especially the song down satan.

  • This is fucking lame shite

  • Alec has always had his own project the whole time. ATR's making stuff now too again. ATR is the punk rock drum and bass stuff. Alec's solo stuff is less formulaic mainstay. That's that.

  • ATR this thursday in amsterdam woohoo:D

  • whatefuck the dancers?!!

  • Muito boaa!!

  • just though this song might go as a soundtrack of AKIRA movie, or some new AKIRA movie

  • @viktorhat Why would they want to destroy 'the system'? It's already as multiculturalist and communist as it gets.

  • ahhhh, the alec empire "post ATR" debate. look at it this way. if you continue something that lost momentum due to a tragedy like carl crack's passing, i think you're then doing that project more damage than good. i think alec just "branched out" due to no longer having ATR. that of course, is just my opinion!

  • Mechanical Animals atmosphere all the way

  • Wonder if this is directed by P. Virus..?

  • not at all, the energy is still there

  • I think to most ATR fans, this is pretty fucking gay.

  • @MonstroMuggins Not gay in the good way I mean.

  • gayest ever :S

  • this is like something you'd find on one of the koopa kids cd players.

  • he looks kind of like a young bill compton

  • this has a very marilyn manson mechanical animals feel to it for me. I like atari teenage riot and alec empire, and I want to like his videos, but they just push the cheesiness and cliches and naievete of all the songs overboard to the point where I just feel stupid liking it....um..yeah.....I've been drinking.

  • the videos are not exactly great. your right.

id rather believe a drunk person than a sober one btw.

  • same here, it truly has the mechanical animals atmosphere. I wondered if anyone had the same feeling about it.

  • Alex <3

  • one of da best producers ever

  • @ demonofdogtown: Definitely. Why the guy isn't better known I don't know!

  • No, this one is like Samuel & the Dragon!

  • Does anybody know what track has this sample, some kid yelling: "I can't -- I can't get out of this, mom, I can't get out!" And then some lady: ". .. Wait. . . Are you ready."

I can't figure out wtf track that's from but I wanted to get the dialogue sample.

  • one of my favourites

  • i have to get his shirt seeing as how my name is alec hahaha

  • well, you did say it was an *old* interview.

i'm not going to question music artists' decisions to change their styles or whatever. i'll just decide for myself whether i like it or not. they're the creators, they can do whatever they want, and maybe alienate part of their fanbase, as has apparently happened here, but that's their problem

  • i dont find a old breakcore live vid of alec empire.

  • hes so hot

  • Saw him last night in London AWESOME!

  • it's a good song. he's under no obligation to keep up the same style until the day he dies.

  • i'm so messed up.. i want you.. here!

and now i wanna be your dog

wait... he's just ripping off iggy pop

  • and he wasnt sued so let the guy make his music

  • @wilhelmgras Haha, I was just thinking that then I scrolled down and see everyone else noticed too

  • @wilhelmgras First what I thought when I heard this song firstly

  • @wilhelmgras

The hommage is obvious yes, but it's not "just" a simple rip off.

  • @wilhelmgras i think the same but the song is great :D

  • @wilhelmgras lol fuck off dude, this is grimey electronic punk time, of course iggy pop is gonna be an influence

  • @wilhelmgras thank you captain obvious! you saved us again!

  • O RLY?

  • @wilhelmgras

I don't like ripoffs, but I find this song better.

  • blah.

where's the power, fist to the face aggression?

    Alec's gone soft.

  • Hey man, every now and then there's nothin wrong with a nice, simple pop song.

  • listen to the dhr discography and you'll actually know why people think this is a bunch of pansy b.s. both sonically and thematically...

  • just not the same without the glitchy 808

  • I think that his music is an one leged In the kingdom of music (3u0)

  • Sooooooooo cool!

  • Kinda crazy looking when everyone stops dancing at the same time and the two black chicks dancing in the background. Awesome video. Amazing song!!!

  • DelightOxygen = Obvious Troll

    and nothing else

  • Great video. Alec is hit and miss with me, but I like this and the futurist CD. not to mention ATR was way ahead of it's time. I wish someone would surface today with that kind of impact.

  • hey that guy is the same from the Atari teenage riot isnt he? :O , i know he did a song with slayer , and this song is originally from slayer? :3 .. Still ,, his voice is so disturbing ,, love it

  • doesn't matter if it sounds like Iggy Pop it is a great song...

  • i like

  • kind version of "i wanna be your dog???"

  • and i'll see both of them there.......but the first of course NIN

  • Nice a NIN fanboy. Do you know Trent is Alec Empire big fan? He even confessed Alecs music inspired him a lot.

  • oh,well,i wish he palyed a bit more at the show in greece!he's great!

  • I kinda like Alec Empire and give him credits for the music he has created between the ATR times and now.

But for some reason I hear a lot Iggy Pop in this song. If you guys listen to the song 1000 eyes (The Golden Forestate of Heaven CD) it sounds a lot like Lou Reed too.

  • Screw the shit

No thanks for polluting The Stooges "I wanna be your dog"

  • wow six fingers at 1:15

  • sometimes I wonder if this was an ironic comment from him about the media comparing him to Reznor who referenced Alec Empire many times.

  • Similar train of thought here. Although i often wondered if it was a broad shot at the awful jump on the band wagon ebm scene with it's designer labels and sheep like metality. "A room full of youth all shout as one, i am individual."

  • Doesn't matter what I believe

  • Saw them yesterday, they were pretty awesome ^^.

  • W Poznaniu? LOL

  • there <-- of course it means themalta festival. ;

  • iwas there. so funny guy. i like his..ehmm doesnt matter. ; D.

  • i'll be there too:P sijaaaa

  • See you soon.... Mhm... :D Me too

  • Pretty cool! Looking forward to seeing them at the Malta Festival tomorrow :D

  • Me too;]

  • me too =]

  • matrix?

  • 2:04 - 2:20?

  • exactly :D 3:35 trinity's voice

  • how is this even close to Limewax???....@.@

  • Limewax is something like drum'n'bass. It's like asking how is Britney even close to Slayer?

  • Some dude on another vid said these guys pwn like Limewax..but.....no fuck'n way.

  • ALEC EMPIRE RULES!!

  • Não me canso de ouvir esse som, o trabalho desse cara é foda desde o Atari Teenage Riot!

  • lol, this is awful. Cool video i guess.

  • Empire actually dedicated this song to Iggy. He mentioned that in an interview I read a while back.

video is directed by John Hillcoat ; amazing director of Ghost of the Civil Dead and that Nick Cave western.

YouTube fucked up the contrast LOL red lips

  • How do simple minded people like you even figure out how to get on the internet?

  • i am so addicted to this song (not really)

  • Nooooow i wana beee adicted to you(8) jojojo.-

  • tdude... my thoughts exactly... Good ear

  • this is a really good video. not bad

  • You'd never know,by watching this video, that Alec recorded an awesome series of solo albums for Mille Plateaux, back in the 90's.

Time to sell out and become little trent reznor jr,i suppose.

  • Not really sure what you mean by either of these statements, considering the number of musical styles this man has toyed with.

The Trent Reznor Jr. comment is especially unfair, being in the industry as long as he has I'd hardly call him a sell out.

  • ez tök szar!

  • annyira azért nem:D

  • what DAAA....

  • so messed up

  • its from intelllience and sacrifice album, reminds me of the stooges 'i wanna be your dog'

    much hails

  • Whaaaa?

  • terror alert is a good song

  • What album is this off of? I'm fairly new to Alec, only have heard the awesome album TGFOH..

  • if your coming from listening to TGFOH you may be in for a shock with his older work, if you dont know he is the main man behind Atari Teenage Riot and pretty much came up with "Breakcore"

Check out Generation Star Wars & The Destroyer

all his albums have their own qualities and may take some time to grow on you but you will be rewarded with each listen

  • That's the Alec I know before he turned into a glamour boy with TGFOH

  • i like it...even if it is political

  • its music you can just enjoy it sometimes

  • I'd like to add that this song still has political connotations. I kinda took some of the lyrics as mocking people for being "addicted" to state governments.

  • They got tired of political music aparrently. I like it personally.

  • Listen to New World Order.

It's off the same album, and still fiercely political.

  • Well I'm sure Alec would be glad to know that his fans are so shallow to label him "pathetic" on the basis of one song from 6 years ago....at least listen to the rest of the album this is from before ranting such tripe.

  • This is one of only a few songs that is not political. I am a political musician myself so I understand how it gets tiring to write about the same thing over and over. Enjoy the song for what it is.

  • signed bec

  • nice

  • wow

  • excuse me

    well i'm kinda dying

    i don't care what you're buying

  • Whoaa 1:14...six fingers!! cool vid

  • the 90's i loved them

  • is that a rat with a pigs snout at 2;05?

  • it's opossum or similar creature

  • actually not its definately a rat with a pig snout, it goes with the whole cloning theme being explored here, all the two headed animals and blonde black chicks etc
