why does Jesus resemble Osirus so much? It seems like Jesus is nothing but the Osirus remix. You all have many reasons to believe in God, but not one reason a reasonable person would consider good.

Just because the Osirus myth preceded Christianity doesn't mean we remixed it.

Oh contrare (or however its spelled)... the similarities between Jesus & Osirus (&many other figures before Christ) aligne so well that if they were actual real people, Jesus would be sued for copyright enfringment.

@Key2daUnderground there are many many things similar about John F Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln, similar to how people claim osirus and Jesus do. Just google it and you will see a lengthy list of similarities between the presidences. but does that mean that JFK was a rip off of Lincoln? That he never even existed and was just a copy off of Lincoln?? Of course not. There are also many things that make them different and unique, as with Jesus and Osirus.unless you think JFK is fake & a rip off too?

wouldn't have to die. So we wouldn't have to live with our mistakes. Because He IS God, and so He LOVES, and for that reason, He gave His LIFE. And so love and life are ours once more. Jesus paid so we wouldn't have to. Because He loves us. So He cleans up the nasty sin by His blood so that we can live and love. So we can stand in His presence without being consumed by His glory. Good thought, but isn't it true that the reason Jesus had to die for our sins is because sin is revolting to God? Sin is nasty because it goes against God's character. Sin is nasty because it is choosing our way instead of God's. Sin is nasty because it hurts God and kills us, because God is life and love and if we're not living in accordance with God we can't have love or life in us, and so the punishment for that nasty sin is death.
