  • This is so true. Nonviolence should be the answer. But people are just ignorant.

  • Nonviolence or non existence. Powerful stuff.

  • @FormerlyMrBean667 Do we have to resort to nonviolence?

  • Dr King knows his stuff. As you can see with Occupy, nonviolence creates public sentiment. The more the cops beat up these kids, the more people will join them.

  • I am very happy to see the vidoe after you give this Nonviolence is the Most Powerful Weapon

  • @Ondelendo he already has it: The truth.

The truth is never expressed though violence.

  • Gandhi was successful against the British. King was successful against the U.S.

The Hungarian people were NOT successful! The Iranian people have not been successful.

Non-violent resistance works by pricking the conscience of the oppessor. If the oppressor has a mindset, religion or philosophy that justifies their oppession, the non-violent method will fail every time. In practical terms, non-violence works only when it is applied to oppressors who have faith in the bible.

  • Good, I like that you share this video, Nonviolence is the Most Powerful Weapon I wish success always

  • Nice Video Dr. King: Nonviolence is the Most Powerful Weapon That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You

  • I Really Like The Video From Your Dr. King: Nonviolence is the Most Powerful Weapon

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing Dr. King: Nonviolence is the Most Powerful Weapon

  • Happy birthday Dr. King. Peace, love and dignity to all people.

  • he is the opposite of the race mongers like Malcolm X, Louis Farrakahn, AL SHarpton, Jesse Jackson, Cornel west, tavis smiley, Khalid Muhammad, ect I WISH MLK WAS HERE TO DESTROY ALL OF THE AL SHARPTONS AND LOUIS FARRAKAHNS

  • Martin Luther King really kows how to inspire people, and he has inspired me to become better! I do hope a lot of us would emulate his actions.

  • he is the opposite of the race mongers like Malcolm X, Louis Farrakahn, AL SHarpton, Jesse Jackson, Cornel west, tavis smiley, Khalid Muhammad, ect

  • Youtube seems to me to be intentionally placing obama in close proximity to videos of Martin Luther King to prop him up as a righteous man. Don't forget he said he would pull the troops and then sent more troops, then he went into Libya as a "humanitarian" move, OBAMA is a criminal and does not deserve to be anywhere near MLK, in fact he should be in prison along with Bush and most of the house of congress and senate

  • What year is this from?

  • I echo the comments of the poster below... this really has opened my eyes to a most incredible man

  • Amazing as this may sound, but I think the greatness of Martin Luther King is still vastly underrated....... No other man has moved me so and the depth of his compassion and intellect is arguably without equal. He strikes me as the embodiment of human good free from moral relativism. Though I too have been guilty of apathy towards his life and legacy I now commit to learning all I can from MLK.

  • Real Resistance against Evil is Esoteric, Non Violent with"Non Cooperation with Evil" & a FREESPIRIT Awakening of Non Compliance to Darksiders Aggressivity vibes pulling the strings in our Abused Matrix!.. in such a point of Vibration increase that their lower vibration can no longer affect us;)...

    We R All 1!;))..

To Love*Light*Harmony & The Genuine Be The Glory!***

  • Our brother Martin, has such a deep heart of love and respect for his fellow man, that "The Man" had to kill him, as history shows that his heart was "affecting" too many people to protest, without violence. What do the violent do when confronted with love, they kill LOVE., just as Jesus Christ was crucified for his love of all mankind.

  • MLK FOREVER

  • Be sure to watch "FULL JUSTICE" now on Youtube. It's a brand new ORIGINAL SONG/VIDEO depicting the life and struggles of MLK.

  • Afghanistan , Algeria and all others were freed by Non violence weapons

  • Vietnam was freed by non Violent weapon.

    THANKS.

  • Those who make peaceful change impossible make violent revolution inevitable.

  • @bull068

This is the best comment I've ever seen on this entire network.

  • Thank you very much Dr. King.

  • Gandhi was racist towards black people. This is a fact that can not be denied. Malcolm X only said that black people have the right to defend themselves, and Malcolm was right. Everyone has the right to defend themselves. This is the law.

  • @truthhitmanisback How does the accusation that Gandhi was racist have anything to do with this. Gandhi was not perfect. He knew this. Thats what makes Gandhi great, is ... he wasn't perfect and refused to take out the anger he may have possesed on individuals that he understood shared the same weakness as him. To feel hatred towards those who persecute you. Or to direct irrational anger towards individuals that may have nothing to do with persecuting you. He was human.

  • @BluesManButchart It has a lot to do with it because his name was brought up in this particular video. But nobody brought up the fact that in his own writings he told indians to go after black people. He was racist, and even called Hitler his friend. Nobody is perfect so that should not be an excuse. Plus non- violence shouldn't be taught to black people unless it's taught to the kkk, and lynchers, meaning white people.

  • @truthhitmanisback Nobody is perfect, I agree with you! That is no excuse. But for those other claims, I have seen no evidence or read nothing of reliability that supports your claim that "Gandhi called Hitler his friend". And being a white man, I feel discust towards the kkk. I disagree with you that it shouldn't be taught to black individual anless it is taught to the kkk only on the grounds that I believe, from my own readings, that Gandhi's teachings transcend race.

  • @truthhitmanisback whither the kkk would listen to Gandhi's teachings, I don't know. But I believe it would benefit alot of people to listen to his teachings. Thats my belief at lest. May I add that just because I have not read about those claims that you made, doesn't make them wrong in my view because frankly, I haven't read, nor do I know all there is to know about Gandhi's life and teachings. Just giving my perspective. I appreciate yours.

  • @BluesManButchart Gandhi's wrote letters to his friend Hitler and supported him.

"We have no doubt about your bravery or devotion to your fatherland, nor do we believe that you are the monster described by your opponents." Gandhi to Hitler

  • @celticcelticwger066 Hitler was not Ghandis friend only if you say every man and womans was his friend.

Non-Violence includes seeing EVERY human being as - well as human and not to attack not even in words.

If you walk up to your boss and you tell him "you are an exploiter, a pig, why can you treat us this way?!" Do you think he will listen?

check out Rosenbergs Non-Violent Communication this is really transforming tool to our lives.

    Peace!

  • @uoaeioeuiau Why do you spread lies here?

You are suggesting that Ghandi was a liar?

Hitler was not only Ghandis "friend" but "DEAR FRIEND".

In all his letters to Hitler he called him "DEAR FRIEND".

Gandhi's reasonable advice to warmonger Jews was:

Commit mass suicide. "We have no doubt about your bravery or devotion to your fatherland, nor do we believe that you are the monster described by your opponents." Gandhi to Hitler.

  • Doesn't seems to work in N-Korea and Burma =_='

  • wow if only i could speak this eloquently. i will hit the books at once! non-violently hit the books of course! hahah

  • Intelligence, education and I would add boundless compassion and empathy.

  • Please tell me you don't think this is incredible..that Dr. King was only 28 years old in this interview..and 26 years old when he launched the Montgomery bus boycott....I can tell you for a fact when I was at that age, that was not possible for me to accomplish...

  • Uncross your arms, you silly twat (interviewer).

  • martin is so eloquent, how could anybody white or black hate him?

  • IONT LIKE THE MAN ATTITUDE INTERVIEWING MLK

  • I love MLK!

  • King is so frank and articulate, he probably could of convinced me to do anything. from believing in God to smoking crack...

  • @truedanz Wow!

  • Intelligence with education is the most powerful weapon, as this interview shows.

Ignorance is the true enemy of modern society.

  • You just rarely see this level of honesty from anyone

  • Love Dr Kings explanation of "Intelligent Use of Police Force" to protect a just law and to protect its citizens.

  • He has a very calm and humble apologetic style of speech that carries a pristine confidence and steadfast resolution that I simply idolize.

    Thank you for sharing.
