s from a University of Illinois study published in '09, a survey of 3146 listed in the 2007 edition of the American Geological Institute's Directory of Geoscience Departments, not all of them climatologists, in order to be considered a climatologist the scientist had to have published at least 2 papers on the subject (climatology) with in the past 5 years. 82% of scientist responding believed that human activity was a significant factor, 97% of climatologists said the same.

"Gee they may increase taxes because of it!" This is how we deal with it. It has nothing to do with the reality of it. "Gee Al Gore is for it so it must be political!" Again, Al Gore's knowledge on the situation has nothing to do with the reality of it.

It was a joke. I didn't seriously mean you couldn't fry eggs on the street a hundred years ago. I'm trying to express the changes we are seeing today are more than just coincidence. When grass grows in Antartica you need to be freaking out. Large numbers of Jellyfish and humbolt squid are apearing out of nowhere. Also the ice is melting very rapidly. It is affecting life for people in the arctic. If you go to amazon it is starting to dry out due to a decrease in rainfall. Explain.

Maybe our education is poor is because education is dominated usually by the "socialist countries" of Europe who fund their schools (cheap or even pretty much free higher education), and funding education is unAmerican according to Republicans. For a while we're in an iceage and for a while you can fry eggs on the streets. Ya know, we don't know if its getting warming because of the millions of tons of oil and coal we burn daily or because god decided he wanted to have a pool party. I mean... its unfair of Nikelodeon to try and show it one sided. People might start thinking global warming is real and if that happens they won't buy hummers and we'll all become hippies.
