You know, it just hit me: In RE2, Leon managed to survive the Raccoon City disaster while saving two other civilian lives. And Raccoon City was an even more dangerous ordeal than the Mansion Incident.

Considering S.T.A.R.S. is supposed to be the "best of the best" in Raccoon City, what the hell does it say about the S.T.A.R.S. team, when 90% of them died during the Mansion Incident, all the while this rookie cop manages to survive an even worse incident, on his first day?

Jill obviously knows Chris, and although they've never met onscreen, I'm assuming Jill has met Claire at least once too, considering she's the younger sister of her best friend.
