i am from new england, but i remember they were supposed to air the pats/giants game (not the superbowl) on nfl network last year, and it only ended up being aired locally because people complained enough to the network (cause it was the pats going for 16-0 obviously). i'm not sure if that's the case this year, but I fucking hope to god you're right.
