@rcredneckhillbilly-Yes you can put a brushless system on these (what do you think the stampede vxl is-The same thing only brushless). The monster jam replica truck's traxxas is selling are 2wd stampede's underneath (the 2wd stampede has gone unchanged since it's inception 15yrs ago other then some diff. wheels/better tranny gears, gray plastic and bodys)-they just added some green stuff to the digger version and added monster jam body's.

Cool as hell! I'm glad Traxxas finally licensed Monster Jam.....surprised it took somebody so long to do it. And yes, the Wheely King has a more realistic chassis, HPI dropped the ball by not licensing Monster Jam first. HPI is dropping the ball alot lately as they STILL do not have a 4WD Blitz yet. But anyways, these Traxxas Monster Jam trucks are on the best things to happen to RC this year.

the bodies in the video are just painted touring car bodies on dirt the ones he suggested are actually modled after crush cars but are expensve and sized for a race clodbuster

These are based off the 2wd stampede but we all know they'll apply these themes to the 4x4 soon. There's also a Max D and a Monster Mutt body that will be out. New tires/wheels and green parts-im def. getting that digger body for my pede 4x4 to make a correct 4x4 monster truck-msrp from traxxas is $319 (on tower) but will prob go down to $289 or so-after all it is only brushed.

@johnedwardthomas- $319 is way high considering the 2wd slash was only $199 brand new a few yrs ago for a rtr brushed rc (the 2wd slash is $237 now on tower). I wish they did this to the pede 4x4 then the 2wd mainly b/c real monster trucks are 4x4 (rear steer aint that important to me for rc). ALSO The wheels they use are the same 2.2/3.0 design as the short course wheels and should bolt right onto and clear the front hubs/steering on the slash 4x4/stampede 4x4-Use front offset wheels F/R.
