  • Does it always start, does it always crank that slow

  • Yes, it always starts no matter how cold it is, and it always turns over that slow. The cable to the starter is corroded, but is integral to the starter so I cant easily replace it.

  • You should clean it off and then post a video.....please...I am going to buy a Farmall H soon and i want to see how fast those 6 volts usually turn over.

  • Nice farmall litle rust but I dont care.

  • My 1958 farmall 140 wont start in the cold unles I spray a can of either in it ? But, still the 140's rock. Nice tractor

  • That's a great old tractor. Honestly, I wonder why they kept the 6v systems around for so long? You would think after a few winters they would have decided to move to 12v. Thanks for posting!

  • Yeah, 6v is definatley slow. I like it though, because by todays standards, its unique. Im so used to 6 volt systems tho that it makes no difference. I used to have a Farmall Cub with the 6v as well.
