I was quite pleased, actually. It was obviously amateur, but among full-length amateur creations, I would say that it is second only to Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy. I realize that this was done with very limited resources, but it really showed serious effort, and it kept me watching for the whole hour. I liked the little nod at the end of the credits, too. Good work.

@zeong542 if you noticeds there would be maybe around ten people per scene so you'll probably have to get numerous woodland uniforms or other types of uniforms you wish to get. it's like a movie, you supply alot of costumes to chose from. hope this helps. if you want to make it authentic, get some military gears as well such as the US Alice Gears or Molle vests. If it costs too much then disregard the gears.

No, those aren't the games voice overs. This is based on the first Metal Gear, which was an 8-bit game. So no voice overs. The voice actor 4 Snake just sounds really close 2 David Hayter.

hmm, good movie but normally snake comes on the facility by swiming, and not by parachute ((that's on NES that he uses the parachute, and the real version's on MSX

I have to say, that was less than great. The casting could have been better (accents ruined dialogue), the shots were almost always way too shaky and the composition of those shots were rarely decent, but your biggest problem was that the scenes could have done with a lot more detail and length. Other than that it was a very good representation of the original story of Metal Gear. The CG animation was considerably good and I liked those graphic novel style intervals. All in all, 7.5 out of 10.

I think it's fantastic for what it is. I sense that the makers of this fan-made film new what it was that fans want to see, and new what they could & could not deliver. I like your use of camera angles, you've used the rule of thirds well. But the dubbing is out of sync.

Unfortunatly the sound isn't the clearest either, you should have used a filter to remove some of the backsounds.

Other than that i can't see much wrong with it great work for amatures with a limited buget, now lets see if Hollywood and there $billions can make their version brilliant
