What output tubes you using? I've had, GT and JJs in my 1x12 nr and it doesn't start breaking up like that until you get her around 2 or 3.

Will this amp be enough stage volume for small and medium clubs? My amps are always mic'd for the house, But never in my monitor (because it's always loud enough, and an amp mic'd into my monitor mix sounds like poo to me). So I need to hear my amp over my "medium" handed drummer. I am playing a Z prescription ES 2x12 right now and I rarely get to turn it up to the sweet spot, and it's breaking my back 4 nights a week at 68 lbs(105 lbs. in roadcase).. Your thoughts?

I myself am also looking to either get this or a Deluxe Reverb, maybe even a vintage princeton, though I like the fact that this has a master volume so it can do many things! What would you say is a good used-private-local price for this? What kind of tubes you got in yours?

the in between positions on a strat are (contrary to popular belief) not out of phase

this amp sounds so badass, its the perfect blend of british and tweed tones with clean. i'd use a sansamp gt-2 with it myself, but thats just me :) all the best.

Hey GMD - really digging the Maz. (It's either a Maz 18 w/ 12"s, a Boogie Rectoverb, or a Fender Deluxe Reverb for me) Thank you for further increasing my amp dilemma. ;-) There's just too much kick ass sounding gear out there!!
