This camera is a couple years old now, but you can find it for a good price I also recommend it. It doesn't take 1080p videos, but it does take excellent 720p videos, which is all you need for YouTube. The shape of the camera, and the gun grip make taking steady video easier than it would be with a Flip. All the videos on my channel are shot with this camera. Also, it has great audio.

another great feature that not everyone knows about is that if your playing back the video on the camera itself, you can press the button you use to take pictures with and it will take stills within the video, great for capturing those funny pics when someone does something weird in a video, lol

What programs do you use to edit your videos? I've tried using Sony Vegas but the video stutters when I try to edit it.

oh man.... i just read some other comments on other vids and everyone seems to love this....why am i the only one having probs with this..... dont get my wrong... i love this..... i can finallly make vids in my basement which i have never been able to do with any other cameras because there is not enough light down here

hey .... nice vid.

I've had this camera for a few months now.... the other day the screen went totally blurry on me....i cant make the image out at all....do you have any idea what could of happened....i read something about condensation and it was raining that but i didn't use th camera out doors. plz reply i need to use it this week.....i;m hoping i accidentally changed something in the menu....

Same thing happened to me. I think its a lens problem. I just smacked it around and rebooted it a couple times and it worked.

the 10 mp are for the photo and the rest 2 mp are for the vid thats why its 720p!!
