Yes I know they missed the Ohio State game on October 4, 2008. When I posted that comment in 2008 (2 years ago) in which they didn't miss an event the previous year, the statement was true.
i have to say that i live in ohio so the ohio university marching band is my favorite, but wisconsin is a very close second their marching style is so physical, whereas ohio states is precise. the only knock against them is that they do have a tendency to get suspended.

Wisconsin is not better than the Ohio State Band. That's not even marching it's just jumping around. How do you think marching band was invented?? The military and that's what Ohio State does and they do it better than anyone else. At least they don't get suspended like wisconsin's band does.

They are good but if you want to see great you have to check out the JSU Marching Southerners. Video doesn't do any band justice but they are truly amazing.

Because no band anywhere compares to the osu marching band. script ohio is iconic, no band in the world sounds better, no band in the world has the tradition of the osu marching band, nowhere else do you the best team in a confrence with the best band in the confrence...and they march like a real band...just sayin
I am glad to see there are no Buckeye fans here. Why is the Buckeye band called the Best Damn Band in the Land? Do they have a 5th quarter at Ohio Stadium? Who would want to eat a Buckeye? poisonous nut.
Congratulations on making national news for being a bunch of tools. You bring down the name of college bands everywhere. I hope they do suspend the band, to prove to everyone that this band isn't above the law. When you get warned of something once, smart people listen.
We did a watered down version of this when I was in high school. Our band director was in the UW band when he was in college so his influence was brought to his teaching job. Our high school band even got to play a UW hockey game when the UW band was on the road. But, that was a long time ago in a decade far, far away.
Luv the uw band. Best in the country.

Interesting run on, I like it. The band I am in does a run out too. It's very challenging to keep on the same foot while doing it.
Also OP, ignore the people cutting down this band and boasting about the "BDBitL" or whatever. Just shows the caliber of its fans...
