  • p.s. its gona be a humbucker bridge with a tele single coil neck.

  • would they suit a humbucker (bare knuckly VHII or stormy monday)? Im thinking of either these or the yardbirds

  • @IAreCrazyChris I'm not sure to be honest

  • You should do one tuned to open G with the 5th string slack!!

  • I thought u were gonna do a WASP cover..

  • I saw your posting about Bare Knuckles Pickups Check out my channel :(rockanthems) I have the Humble Pie Version of I Don't Need No Doctor(Guitar Lessons)and I Have Bare Knuckles "Nail Bomb" in my Strat at the Bridge Position and Irish Tour single coils in the Neck and Middle positions. This are also Bare Knuckles pickups. The Best.ROCK ON!!!

  • Thanks for the quick reply! One last little question! What positions are used for what on the four way switch? Both middle settings for humbucking?

    cheers,

    Willem

  • The 4 positions are Bridge only - Bridge and Neck in Series - Neck only - Bridge and Neck in Parallel.

  • Thanks for the great vids! nice playing, love the end of this one! One question.. I plan on building a tele, and am thinking of getting bareknuckles. I like a blues sound, should I get these or do you think the yardbirds are more what I'm looking for. Might be a stupid question as you probably don't have experience with those :p

  • Thanks mate. The brown sugars give a great blues sound especially in the neck position. I'm not sure about the Yardbirds. I have not heard them but can honestly say the brown sugars are fab.

    Cheers

  • is brown sugar noisy? too many hums....

  • Not as I've noticed. They are single coil so will have a single coil hum but to me they sound great

  • Our guitar face is the way to show our passion while playing when we can't kick around our feet bang our heads and just sway from side to side! Hahah don't hide it! Express it my man~

Props btw I love the Tele.

  • :-)

    Thanks man

  • sweet tone!

  • this may seem silly but can u but humbuckers into a telecaster cuz i wanna put some on mine put i dno whether u can cuz of the pickguard and where the bridge pick-up is

  • You can but it will require some alteration to your pickguard and to the bridge. best bet is to visit google and search for 'fitting humbucker in telecaster'. Also the 'Telecaster forum' is good too. tdpri. com

  • cheers man will do

  • how much are the pick ups nice sound

  • They are 65 quid each or 125 quid for the pair direct from Tim at bare knuckle pickups
