I loved the 50s and early 60s but things seemed to get dark after 1963. The people that were marching for "peace" really didn't know what they were doing. Then, the country began to crumble (I was born in 1951). I was insulalted from racial problems and had I known those things were happening, I would have fought to stop it. Now I feel condemned as a "racist" because I was born white. Bigotry has no color. LTB translates to any race and country--in dozens of languages around the world
Not chewed up by childhood fame drugs or booze. No profits for the junk tabloids. Good for you Jerry, you bring stability and an example of good clean healthy living to an insane world and a media that focuses on trash and failure. Good to see you old friend...
Have always loved "Leave It To Beaver" (since I've posted two cast commercials for Purina Dog Chow in YouTube), but I never knew the Beav did a total of three 45 rpm singles!??! All I ever knew of was "Don't Cha Cry"/"Wind-Up Toy". I have that Atlantic promo single, now I have to hunt for the other two!!
BEAVER!!!
