Dude! This is an awesomely helpful video. Just removed my fairing following your instructions. Way easier than everybody made out. Thanks heaps for taking the time to make and upload this video. Thanks heaps.
Brilliant. Thanks so much for your time and effort on getting this extremely useful and clear video on-line for the benefit of others. Very much appreciated :-)
Hey could you please tellme how to remove the screw under the bike holding both ends fairing together? Its freaking weird like a screw in a plastic? I tryed 2 hold it and screw but now i kinda fucked up the screw! please gimme advice! :P
Thank you for the video. I was afraid that I will break the tabs when I take it off. Plus I had no clue what was involved. Your instruction is very easy to understand, unlike some others.
Awesome video mate! I've done 40,000kms on my 09 and I've always been too scared to take the fairings off but after watching your video this morning, I took them off, cleaned everything and managed to put it all back together without breaking it. 2 big thumbs up from me :)
Very Very good video, and realy useful. But as an owner of a CBR600F6 which was so easy to take the fairing off and back on, why have Honda made this fairing so awkward, What is wrong with screws, those stupid clips holding the fairing to the fuel tank are a joke, the chances of this fairing lasting more than 10 oil changes are very low, my white paint on my fuel tank chipped as i put the fairing back on. This poor design really lets down what is a great bike.
@wakeboarder19 The Tail Fairing is fairly easy, ill try and make a vid soon. My camera fell off my bike and i haven't been able to make vids lately. Everything i make on my phone turns out like crap. lol
Great video, I was wanting to take mine off to change the oil and I was a little unsure how to do it. I should be hitting my 600 mile break in service next week and I'm going to do the oil change myself.
Love the way these bikes look... without the fairings. Is there any mechanical/safety related reason why you couldn't just leave the fairings off the sides and tank?
Finally there is a video for an 09 CBR Thank you very much. I crashed and my gas tank was crushed now I can start my project to replace it thx to this video =D.
You are the man in so many ways! Thanks for this.. Taking my brothers apart this weekend.

Because of this video I was able to install my flush-mounts. Saved me about $100. I have a 2010 CBR600RR.

Thanks, Meester! I was hugging and puffing out in my chilly garage yesterday,
realized that I was going to break something, and stopped.
Your video is super! Simple and informative, unlike the tiny Honda owner''s manual,
which was basically useless. Really appreciate your time, effort, and kindness in
sharing your knowledge!

This should read "huffing" not "hugging". I wasn't hugging my fairing: I was about to kill it!

Thank you very much! Very specific and the video was great, especially the removal of the fairing itself.
