@UtubeDuDeDuh hahahaha. I'm glad my daughters were born with brown eyes like my wife, I love Spanish eyes. I guess you get bored with blue eyes if you live with them all your life. Besides in 5-10 years people will be able to use eye lasers to change their eyes to whatever color they want. But thanks for the compliment!
This was very helpful! I am babysitting for the first time tomorrow and the youngest is still in diapers. Now I know what to do! There are three children, two girls and a boy. I'm nervous and excited! Thanks, Katie!
@katieandshayla Dear Katie, You're welcome!!! I can tell you from experience the best way to keep young children somewhat under control is to make sure they have stuff to do. Whether it's playing, helping clean up the backyard, watching movies, whatever...if they get bored they'll tear down the house!!! As a note...3 children to one babysitter??? Holy moley! You need a cape! Good luck! Best, Dare
I am showing this to the hubby. He flat out REFUSES to change diapers...and feed her and clothe her and bathe her ... Your wife is very lucky. And the little one is beautiful!!!!!
@DDScene Hi Denise, I hear you. Under the parental skills section of my blog I have an article entitled "What is Involved Fatherhood." That may or may not help. cluelessfather (dot) wordpress (dot) com. I also have another one titled "The Uninvolved Parent." See if that helps. Also "What is Bonding?" On the cluelesswebsite. You have to change the mentality behind the parent who doesn't do their part, before showing them how to do their part is going to make them do it. Just a thought. Best, Dare
@jrlee31 Dear JR, Thanks! I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you are expecting? If so: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Get ready for the ride of your life! :D Let me know if you have any questions or need any help on anything. Good luck and have a great day!!! Best, Dare
@jrlee31 That's awesome!!! I'm really glad if the videos helped at all! I'm sure your OB told you already, but they can record the ultrasounds and give them to you on a DVD or memory stick in case you want to preserve the memories! Congrats again on fatherhood! Best, Dare
It's a very good thing you're doing here, giving a tutorial for the clueless males. If you ask me, I think more men should volunteer to help out at day cares and such.
@ExplorerDS6789 Hi Dylan, thanks. Funnily enough at first more women were watching my videos than men but recently it has balanced about 50/50. We, as males, are clueless as parents because so many parenting institutions completely disregard us and almost speak exclusively to women. But yes, I think a few days helping out in a daycare would give a man a whole other view on life. Have a great day, Dare
@cluelessfather Glad to see we agree, dude. I tried volunteering at the Infant Toddler Ministry at my church, and although they didn't specifically request only women to handle the children, they openly preferred I help move equipment. There were many restrictions set in place, which I felt was unfair. I no longer attend that church.
@ExplorerDS6789 Prejudices and preconceived notions die hard my friend. It's the same in many pre-schools I've visited. It's a women only club. Except for the security guards who are male. Anyways, there may be some general merits to the concept, but honestly a woman who has not had her own child is pretty much in the same position as a man, unless they have worked taking care of children.
@BellaKisses029 I think any father reacting irrationally to your comment would say "Sure, as long as you don't mind me putting your fist in a vegetable blender." However I'll go on the assumption that you really didn't mean what you just said.
can you be my husband? or at least kick a dirty diaper up my husband's ass? also, some soft rock music sounds great in the background, you might want to utilize this fact. ...````...\m/ rock on!
@ladyat0mic LMAO. I could help teach him how to change a diaper, but it seems its more of a "doesn't want to" rather than a "doesn't know how to." Is he just uncomfortable because you have a daughter? That might sound silly but I've spoken to dads who won't change their daughter's diaper but have no problem changing their son's diaper. Or if it's because of the smell of baby poop, just tell him to sniff the toilet next time before he flushes. It ain't roses down there either.

@cluelessfather you are absolutely correct! my wife is on her 5th month and our next check up with our OB
will determine our baby's gender. I actually did view some of your vids over and over again.
Thanks again for putting this up!
