  • If it's below freezing, shouldn't the water be frozen over?

  • @WinRunescape Depends on the water. This is salt water, which doesn't freeze at the same temperature as fresh water. The ice on the piling and the snow on the beach wasn't melting, we assure you. It was definitely sub-32F.

  • wheres the above water footage?

  • @joshuaguimond Shot this in a hurry. Not enough free hands for an above-water angle.

  • so did the little seahorses live?

  • weird XD

  • You have the technology, now build a miniature SSN with mini-Poseidons, or better yet...

.......F-15s launched vertically out of the water!

  • @mobius1aic Ha! Nice reference there.

  • that's a lot of salt

  • Tactical model inbound.

  • Interesting result.

  • @MRCAB We were quite surprised that the igniter fired, despite the seawater short.

  • sounds like farting in the bathtub

  • u should have had footage of the missile leaving the water

  • @chewinggum365 yeah - we were shorthanded and short on time, and didn't have enough cameras rolling.

  • @Rapidnadion could you do this again please i want to see how high it goes

  • i subbed thx for making these epic videos

  • how far out did it go ?

  • @flyingchimp99 We were too busy getting out of its way to see its height, but it traveled about 300 feet northwest. :)

  • what does it look like coming out of the water?

  • @fadarrell Not sure - we were ducking/diving out of the way to avoid the death missile. :)

  • @Rapidnadion hi! long time no see rapidnadion :D how loud is the rocket? do i need ear protection? and how its launched? with electric?

  • @mirotzu99 Electrically-fired, yes - you can see the red wires in the foreground on the underwater shots. It's not all that loud at all. :)

  • I've seen a Tomahawk Cruise Missile launched from a sub before...in an anime.

  • lol estes alpha

  • no way

  • u guys are awesome i'm gonna sub.

  • @carrotninja145 Thanks! Welcome!

  • did you use a flat nose because that is the only way to get through the water

  • @PsiStarstormOmega982 Nope - standard nosecone!

  • @Rapidnadion really what about the fuel

  • @PsiStarstormOmega982 The propellant was protected from water exposure by a layer of candle-wax applied to the nozzle-end of the engine. In addition, the exposed portion of the engine casing was covered in CA glue. Worked out pretty well! :)

  • @antimattercrusader i was asking Rapidnadion

  • no all that mony went to waste

  • @bennyster123 Yep - all $8 or so. :)

  • @Rapidnadion SUBBED I had an rc boat with missles it pwned other ones while i was roaming dem waters sadly someone shot me

  • @Pikachu1331 Such risks must be taken! :) Thanks for subbing - glad you enjoyed it.

  • @Rapidnadion no prob bro

  • we got a missile launch code black

  • Loved the launch. I'll have to try that in my vids!

  • @thedknuckles Do so! Let us know if you get around to it - love your channel!

  • rc icbm?

  • nexta a turpedo :-)

  • i have that rocket lol how did you get it under water

  • @iza2098 We waterproofed it with candle wax, superglue, and tape - check out the video description.

  • @Rapidnadion k cool

  • How high id it go ouside of the water ?

  • @LegacyBenJVEVO At least six feet, because it cleared the dock we were next to. Didn't see it, as I was busy keeping my face away from it.

  • That was amazing! I thought the fuel would just get soggy and burn out on ignition

  • Ouch! That had to be tough to put under the water in that weather! Either way, I love all your videos! Keep em coming!

  • @21freeskier21 It was a strange sensation putting my hands in that water! Freezing, sharp cold for about 4 seconds, and then curiously warm.

  • Comment removed

  • you are explorers

  • @franchboy Best compliment we've had in a while. Thanks!

  • Would like to have seen this from above the water as well.

  • @finalfrontier1701 Yeah - it was a rush job from start to finish. Next time!

  • @Rapidnadion

I have a good idea... Use your R/C sub. and launch a missle from that!!!! PLEASE DO THAT!

  • @TheMegaPeoplepersons Lots of engineering work to do something like that. We'd love to at some point.

  • So thats were the North Korea sub was...

  • needed an outside view of the launch as well

  • Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • ok now i can say it good vid as usual :)

  • @GAM3BABIZZ Thank you!

  • never seen a beach in winter. nice.

  • @tigerboy1227 You know, oddly, that's a really cool comment. It's awesome to be able to show people things they've never seen before, even if it's not the reason we made the video. Hope you enjoyed the look!

  • @Rapidnadion ironically i live about 20-30 mins from the beach
