  • Now thats Mud!!

  • Brings a tear to my eye man. It reminds me of my dad's old truck...ol blue. Old blue is a bad ass stock 77. We've pulled out stuck trucks of every brand with Old blue. My dad asked a few weeks ago what I thought about having air tightes installed into ol blue...lol. He meant Air Lockers.

  • I think I hear someone saying "He just called you a Faggot" in the very beginning of the video. HAHAHA

  • you had no wheel speed... need more ponies!

  • I run a modded 400M NP205 with NP435 and I still don't think it's got enough balls on my 35" swampers. I can't imagine a C6 on 44s. Great video and awesome truck though!

  • @FordFan78

My dad had a bronco with 40x17.5's and it rode on top. The wider you go, the more it acts like a snow shoe. Sweet truck man.

  • does it have a 351m?

  • @bigbluemudder79 says its got a 400M with an auto c6

  • new process makes it not ford....

and they were used in chevys too not just fords..

  • new process makes it not ford....

  • I see alot of these old Fords turned into mudders. Best factory axles known to man I hear.

  • drop a ford big block 460 in it but bore it to a 502 and you want have a problem turning the 44s thats what i have in my 79 but im on 54s

  • How much lift did you put on to get the 44's to fit?

  • so close but better luck next time ... hell of a runn

  • hell, just anther badass Ford RAISIN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how much lift and is it all leef spring i just started my build with 400m and c6 and np205 tcase, is the motor muild ot stock with headers? thanks

  • i'll second the 70's-79 ferds are the best! i beat the shit out of mine...and she takes it- while looking good at the same time!

  • @Fordfan78, How will it help to go digging if you are in a bottomless peat marsh?

  • @originalclownboy Well once it hits bedrock 300 feet down it'll grab like crazy and pull you right out. Man did I really have to explain that to you? :)

  • '70s F series is where its at. Fuckin brute tanks and look sexy

  • hey what kind of front driveline do you have in it ?? i keep on busting mine.

  • @bladeslinger121, front axle is a high pinion dana 60, stock shafts, welded diff, and warn lockouts. I think the front driveshaft is just a rebuilt stock shaft (but no CV joint) that gets greased on a regular basis. I honestly thought I'd be breaking the front driveshaft on a regular basis, but it's held up so far no problem.

  • wheres this at thats some really heavy ground you got

  • well... i would be interested in selling or trading it, but.... i've already got a left nut and don't need another!

  • that is a beautiful ford.

  • that's a heavy truck

  • what size of lift do you have in it?

  • @evilevo15, T-case gears? For a Ford NP205? Nobody makes a lower gear ratio gearset for a Ford NP205 you silly rabbit.

  • @originalclownboy sure they do. try the google machine and you'll find Lomax 3:1, and doublers(4:1) for the 205.

  • @chucknarok, hey bud, thanks for the useless info! try the google machine and you'll find that Lomax 3:1 (4:1) is for a Dana 300 transfer case. some other places make gears for a Chevy NP205, but nobody makes gears with different-than-stock ratios for a Ford NP205. A doubler bolts onto the transfer case, yea, I'd have more gear reduction, but I'd still be running the exact same gears in my transfer case...

  • @originalclownboy ah re-read the lomax article. It is for the GM stuff only. Sorry for the mis info. As far as the doubler goes, the goal is gear reduction and that does that, so I don't really know why you wouldnt consider that an option since there are no gears for Ford. Wasnt trying to be a dick I just thought the article I read said they were for ford also. Sorry if it double posts youtube is being stupid.

  • i think i just came?

  • nice rig man. best trucks ever built. unstoppable in the mud.

    73 highboy

    fe 390

    np-435 divorced 205

36x14.50x16.5 on stock suspension "she'll always be my 1st truck"

  • How big of lift are you running?

  • notice the white UFO at 0:16

  • what gears u got?

  • @slashbasher96 : gears are stock, 4.10 ratio. She should really have 4.56's or 4.88's so I could get the rpm's up a little higher...

  • i was gona say sounds like ur mashin it but the wheels aint turnin

  • @slashbasher96 : yea, there's that too. i'd like to get rid of the slushbox and put a 4 speed in it. i know this engine has the snort to spin the tires faster than it does with the c6 in it...

  • if u can see if u can find a beat turbo 400 and rebuild it that would make a beast

  • why put a turbo 400 between a ford engine and a ford transfer case? the c6 would do the job if it were rebuilt but i would prefer a 4 speed.

  • just sayin its like the heaviest duty trany out there aint it thts what my 86 deisel military truck has in it

  • national spring in cal. will make any heigh spring for just about and truck, get out your check book.

  • tmyers makes pistons for them but i dont remember if they're forged or not

  • nice truck...what year is it?

    n i got an 84 f-250 with a 3 inch lift n i can squeeze in 40s but 38s look better on it

  • Bro nice truck can't say i can put 44" on mine

  • im going to have to agree with simon64

the truck 400s did not have the same smog shit and retarted camshaft timing as the cars, as they did not have to meet the same emission standards

  • thats a mid 70's 250

  • 460?

  • Nope, just a rebuilt 400. I think the C6 is sucking up a lot of the HP, would like to try a 4 speed in it with the same engine...

  • 400s kick ass if they're built right. Nice truck.

  • dont ever sell that truck

  • why did he let off?,....... lost all of his momentem

  • There was no letting off there... With 4.10 gears, locked axles, 44" boggers, and the C6 sucking up power, the engine got bogged down.

  • all 1970's-1979 model fords are built like tanks even chevy and doge had a hard time keeping up with these ford in the mud even till this day they do.

  • @funkyboy4scar Yeah im a chevy guy. but wholy shit, just like you said 70-79 fords are built like tanks haha

  • @funkyboy4scar lets not forget the 80 through 86 f series, i got one of those :)

  • what size lift?

  • 8" suspension lift...

  • NICE truck man, where did you find an 8" susp. lift for a ford? is it a 150 or 250? Did you just use the new superduty springs or something?

that is one sweet ford man

  • I think they are 6" lift springs, but on the front the shackles are 2" longer than stock. The rear has a shackle flip. In the end, it's about an 8" lift.

  • It's an F250 frame with 1 ton axles. Dana 60 front and Sterling 10.25 rear axle.

  • thanks and nice truck

  • THATS MY DREAM TRUCK 60S FORD F100!!

  • its a 77

  • haha dude, 60s fords are alittle bit different than that

  • damn thats alright there im a chevrolet man had a 78 chevy on 44s but i like this that machine was diggin
