"Boer" does not represent the suffering of black people.. the word for that is 'apartheid'... I was under the impression that Nelson Mandela had paid a great price of our freedom.
Black people need to stop blaming white people for our short-comings. Yes what the white man did was bad, but that was generations ago. You cant blame the children for the sins of their fathers. Yes we have been put in a difficult position, but the ball is now in our court, why not make hay while the sun shines?
@MoolahMogul1 I partly agree with you on that, but i feel i have to correct you,it hasn't been generations as you say...somethngs that people tend to overlook is the creation of the townships, the township environment is not condusive towards the development of the previuosly disadvantaged and it is hard to reverse something that was implemented decades ago when the population was only a fifth of what it is now plus the nepotism within the ruling party is bringing development to a standstill
@Hammersley1967 Native americans were not put in the same position, the apartheid system was about ensurin that the destruction of the blackman's productiveness occurred swiftly, when SA was still a british colony,a couple of blackmen were allowed to further their studies and when the boere took over he denied the blackman education which in turn means denying somebody the ability to be a productive individual thats how messed up the system was and that can't be compared to the native americans!
@cyom1 yeah but remember thy had the own homeland till today theres nothing done in there gettos why cuas thy dont want to work for nothing if thy didnt like apartyd thy could simply go to zulu land or there home land sa is the boervolks land for long time and stolen of as by envy
@TheBoeremag if ther boer had to swap homelands it wount be long and thy envy it to there is loads of places in afrika that white never had and go look its full of genocide even on there own kind black on black thy can just rape and murder blood thursty animals apartyd was right thy never would of tried to kill some 1 black or white the 1994 goverment makes it easy to kill and get away from it but no suprices if you take prisoners and make them leaders
Die boer die boer die dboer die boer die.I love my African brother and sistas in Africa and i support you against the evil demonic caveman satanic Boers. Please destroy all of them.
@JuliusMalemaisgod die die die die die hate hate hate, look what that has caused: world war I, world war II, War in general, and apartheid!!! us as "Human beings" should learn from the past and work for a brighter future, but i dought this makes any sense to you or many other "People" in this world, its quite sad its because of Hate Greed and ignorance that this world is going to shit, peace out to the people of S.A....
@waggygee It would help 10,000 times over, African people want to be left alone so we can rebuild our societies. We are the First humans on the planet so we are more then capably of fixing our problems.
@OriginalBloodKin im sorry... but i have to tell you that that sounds rather retarded... what ever happened to a rainbow nation? having leaders who behave like this just promotes xenophobia... something SA doesnt need, esp during world cup times.
its heartbreaking watching such a small stupid leader like Julius Malema piss all over everything Mandela stood for
Now I understand how a moron such as Julius Malema can be the president of the ANCYL ! Because his followers as as these 2 idiots are even MORE stupid than him ! These individuals are such pathetic little clowns with absolutely 0 inteligence and 0 common sense and no brains whatsoever !
If it's OK to sing "kill the boer" then it should be OK to sing "Sleep hom bietjie hier, sleep hom bietjie daar. Sleep daai f***** k***** sommer deurmekaar"". And if that's OK, then I don't wanna be a South African anymore!!!
"De La Ray" is more like Johnny Clegg's "Impi". These sing of national pride - of South African bravery! Mbongeni Ngema's song which sang "We need strong and brave men to confront Indians" was ruled hate speach. Is "kill the boer" and different? Songs like "kill the farmer" belong in the old SA, just like Die Stem. If you mean "kill apartheid" then sing that!
@heidemariec we had food befor and we will have food after. If that is your main concern then leave and you will be the one starving. you there for food and work. Get that one straight. you not there for humanitarian reason
@wangige45 lol, it seems like u think that im not african myself... ke tswa botswana by the way. I dont claim to have the answers but anyone who can think sensibly should be able to realize that its not cool of a political leader to sing songs such as "kill the boer" or is that what u think africa needs?
@wangige45 hw is commenting abt the song going off topic? Im glad that you agree that the song is apaling. I dnt realy undrstnd the logic in kicking people out and somehow claiming that we all need each other. Im not saying thre is a prblm with black people being treated equally (what ever happened to the rainbow naion idea though...). Some how I feel that you have already made up your mind I think its better I just keep quiet and hope RSA is not the next "Mugabe story"
@waggygee Rainbow nation was only a mirage. It was never there to begin with. And i agree with you kicking people out is not the solution but land reforms need to be tackled intelligently
@waggygee Don't go off the topic. I never commented on The song "kill the Boer". If you ask me the song is appalling and should not be sung by a political party of any nation. But the idea that the existence of a certain group of people in Africa is crucial to african civilization and survival is nothing less that stupidity and ignorance especially coming from someone who claims to be an African. And dont get me wrong every race in this world need each other in equal terms

What these racist dimwits are advocating would never be considered in developed liberal democratic nations...
Indeed, it is illegal in most developed western nations...
It just goes to show that democracy, liberty, peace and justice is a state of mind...
And South Africa aint got it...
SA = FUTURE ZIM

Come on idiots...
Do Native Americans sing "kill the White Man"?
Do Australian Aborigines sing "Kill the Colonisers"?
Do South American Indians sing "Kill the Gringo"?
No, none of them do... Why? Because they realise that this expresses an attitude that breeds social division and disharmony...
Grow up South African Blacks...
Oh, and by the way, the Boers have a longer genealogical legacy that any of the Bantu population anyway...
So stop bleating about "colonisation"...
