Gary Oldman really performed this character so great that it boosted his acting career. Even more, when I saw him on Batman Begins I asked myself: "How can he leave his evil side out of his mind in The Professional and bring the good guy by performing Sgt James Gordon in Batman Begins?" I found the answer: He really study his character in order to fit in the role. Two thumbs up for this scene!!!
