Awesome video, all the cars sound so good. I love Hallett, I've ran a few HST's and rented the track for a day with friends before. Gotta admit I do like it much better going counter-clockwise.
Thanks! I just raced at Hallett earlier today. So much fun... and running the other direction, which I prefer. I also set up the in-car camera, but I haven't looked at it yet. I finished a distant 2nd to Jeff Tevis, (seen leading in the video above) who must have put a second engine in his car!!! He's doing 1:18's now, so I'm gonna have to dial something up big time to ever get to run with him again. I wouldn't be the first to sell my house to buy a race car. :)
Thanks! I have driven Hallett in low-powered cars, too, and I can understand why a PA guy would prefer it in this direction. There a lots of opportunities for you guys to embarrass the big motor guys running in reverse direction... all the way from turn 9 to turn 2, where it is mostly driver and handling. I am close to the same either direction, but I always feel there is more to be found in speed for me while running clockwise. It's fun trying to find it. One thing I know... I miss Hallett!
Yeah, that really does make Hallett special. A lot of guys run a little quicker this direction, but I'm within a tenth of a second either way. I really prefer to run the other way.
Yeah, thanks for pointing that out! The inside line happened to be filled up by Jason's cup car and Harvey's corvette. This is what I get for giving you so many rides when you were a kid! :) Now go to your room!!!
what is that black car in front

Very nice :-) I like Hallet better backwards, but it is great either way. Us PA class drivers can only dream about going that fast ;)
