  • I said, I came to where I open songs: d

  • what a beast

  • how can it be flying if it has been de-comissioned for years??

  • @RsRxSn1p3z Do you not read? It says it was filmed in 1995!

  • thank you

  • I used to love watchin the planes! It was always cold whenever i went tho lol is Concorde still at the aiport? Last time i went it was there not flying tho

  • Somebody tell me why they stopped flying this awesome plane.

  • Very nice, I now spot here regulary, Still wish this aircraft was in use.

  • Wont be long and Richard Branson's Aroura passenger jet will be ready.

  • @MrCriticOfAll what do you mean?

  • @xZeRoXVeNoMzX It's a pay out on anybody who thinks the Aroura plane exists.

  • I LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS WITH THE NOSE..... SRRRY FOR THE CAPS

  • It was such a nice aircraft.

  • So the Concorde was basically a huge jet.

  • @CheddarBob39 Nah, it was a turbo prop!

  • The best plane Of passengers

  • Is this Barton airport?

  • @peterdcarter1 No, this is Manchester Airport not Barton aerodrome.

  • @peterdcarter1 Knob. Barton is an airfield for light aircraft!

  • concord reminds me of a swan

  • amen brother thats totallly right, they dont focus on anything over here in the states except competition and trying to out dp other's.

    really sickening.

concorde was here in the early 80's at brown field in san diego for rides out to hawaii and back.

    $900.00 a seat.

Im not sure that any of the people on there really cared about the plane.

I think it was just a marketing thing to one's that never saw the concorde.

    air show hype.

  • is of air france?? or brithis?

  • Manchester England or Manchester NH

  • @mikemorr100 Manchester, England. :-)

  • i remember when the concorde was in Mexico City :)

  • bet that woz well loud lmao xx

  • 0:08 "Dzień dobry"

  • ... airline companies who owned Concorde wouldn't get much money) and many people thought they unsafe partly because of the crash and partly because the speed they went. I really do hope Concorde comes back or another similar plane comes, and I hope it's British :D Long live Concorde!

  • The Concorde, the plane which makes English people, like me, so proud. I love the Concorde thou I have never been on one or even seen one in person but I still love it, so what if one crash brought it to an end (yes, I know it wasn't the main reason but still) it is still awesome and they should bring a new version back! So sad that it doesn't fly anymore. The fastest commercial plane ever built, New York to London in 3 hours! But all ended in 2001. Too costly to run (as it was so small, the...

  • @TheModernMovement

I liked british planes alot better than american one's anyway.

I never saw many english planes on news reels' much it was all american stuff with the lates gadgetry or design.

    I got tired of seeing all the stuff from Boeing douglas and locheed;

I did see the thing on the Concorde and the Brabazon too.

as well as the Short Bros Princess Flying Boat.

tey were all good design's and deserved alot more credit than they got.

  • @kirkconway Same, though American plane companies such as Boeing or McDonnel Douglas make many more planes that British plane companies do but personally I feel that that the British make more beautiful, powerful and memorable planes. Such as Concorde, Typhoon and obviously the Spitfire. We also make planes with high safety, something I personally feel some American airplane companies don't focus on. The DC-10 was terrible with it's safety and crashed alot. Only due to pilot skill did they not.

  • I've heard that they will try to use Concorde in 2012 when it's Olympic Games in London (open ceremony or something)...

  • @ThePlanespotter1

Not a chance of that happening. The CoA is revoked, there are no more parts/spares, Airbus has refused Mtx support, and only one of them even still has a working hydraulics and fuel system (ship F-BTSD) and there's no way in hell Air France is going to allow one of its Concordes to promote British interests without INSANELY massive cost.

  • We will always remember the Concorde... the most awesome, fastest, and classy airplane ever... unbeaten until nowdays what they offered 1.2 mach champange VIP lounge what we have now paranoia... 450 pax aircraft children crying during all flight =D
  • We will always remember the Concorde... the most awesome, fastest, and classy airplane ever... unbeaten until nowdays what they offered 1.2 mach champange VIP lounge what we have now paranoia... 450 pax aircraft children crying during all flight =D
  • @MarcoTUV if u knew why they were banned from passenger flight you wuddint like it

  • @rsWayOfWar was the concord rules so tight and severe?

  • @rsWayOfWar It wasn't banned, it was binned because it was uneconomical. Simple as that. Sad end to a beautiful plane.

  • @MarcoTUV Too many westerners hate kids so one day you're gonna be invaded because you won't have any soldiers to fights back.

  • that place is awsome i been there wem i was a kid

  • When i was watching this my little sister came in and said, "since when was concorde yellow?" haha bless her :)

  • Beautiful, great vid, thank you for sharing !

  • My family helped build this beautiful aircraft, I hope to see at least one Concord flying again before I die.

  • When I realize what's going on today, I can't help but feel we've gone backwards since then. We need to bring that plane back and fly forward once again! It's upward and forward time--keeping this plane on the ground won't do it or us any good!

  • look at them all at the fence, TERRORISTS , name and shame them , for wanting to see the most beutifullest plane ever built.

  • Why did they ever scrap this? It was the DC-10's fault!

  • @iggy792 nope there many Air france had some british airways did too!

  • so, there was only 1 concorde made ever?

  • Too bad supersonic transports cost so much to operate and the Concordes had to retire. Otherwise Boeing would've built one which would be great to see.

  • we need something better IDK Why they canceled it

  • this is our age Zeppelin! R.I.P Concorde!

  • Take-off and landing had always been quite a challenge with this one

  • I heard someone said Planeplaneplane crash. and im not joking hear it properly

  • we want concorde back !!!!!!!!

  • First one is missedapproach isn't it?

  • chow pow cow now how show wow meow... said the Chinese person

  • MAN EGCC RWY 24R - today 23R

  • lol the one thing the french actually helped achieve.

  • such an amazing machine!

  • beatifull

  • Beautiful Airplane!!

  • Simply the most majestic bird flying in the sky

  • It's sad that we cant see dat anymore, but if a plane crashes cos of some rubber thingies it should be grounded, i, sad however that i never got to fly with this superplane :/

  • lol if i was their ill be pushing peaple out of my to capture the touchdown point

  • its pretty crap that de concore crashed because a part of a DC10 and concoid went bankrupt :(

  • @iDennis95

concorde never did do anything good financially for bitish airway's.

it was one of the safest planes out there, with no accident's or mishap's.

but insurance, and the cost of jet fuel, and maintenence would drag it down before it had a chance to make it financially

  • @kirkconway It generated £1.75bn in revenue over 30 years, against £1bn in costs. So a £750m operating profit.

  • Sounds like a fighter jet

  • concorde yellow ???

  • @mysims33 Just the sun's reflection on the underbelly along with the moisture in the air and video quality.

  • @TMusic5

    Ok

  • Couldnt barely see any landing

  • well the blackbird is a plane (non public) that travels really fast and pilot witness reports state that ufo's stalk it and cause it to crash/lose control well I believe that's why the concord got cancelled nothing to do with that 1 crash, google "blackbird UFO" for more info

  • @666music666 Yup they needed an excuse for it to be grounded, and maybe they got one, or maybe they made one. Seems a bit suspect to me. Especially after this site on 911 h t t p dotdot forwardslash forwardslash septemberclues dot info forwardslash wtc underscore collapses dot h t m

  • More camera shake please....

  • thumbs up if you want to punch the kid shouting 'concorde' over and over again in the face

  • 0.49 fuck about its going into space

  • qué pajarraco! xDDD

  • For once, I thought the plane was hovering lol.

  • this is a stupid quiestion but wut was the concord?

  • i see no point in it being grounded honestly

  • @wtficantgetausername

Me neither, how many other types of planes crash and yet the fleet still keeps flying? One disaster in Paris and the most beautiful (passenger) bird in the sky is scrapped. I think there must have been a lot more to it than what we were told.

  • Nice Oldtimer. Would've liked to enjoy the feeling of the Sixties.

  • Guy that wants uscto copy, kindly shut the fuck up.

  • Emotianal

  • LOOK AT THE BIG AIRPLANE!!!! =D

  • i was number 200

  • strange landing

  • @chrisowen everyone makes mistakes..

  • the ole concord went down like the ole Titanic.

  • Awesome!

R.I.P. Concord :-( The greatest ever joint venture between the UK & France and one that is still unbeaten - even by the Americans. Our two countries should always remember this, be proud of it and celebrate this rare alliance & achievement between us!!

  • @250Trojan

    there is also the eurotunnel

  • @brascioldcavadd Another good achievement, but is it as good and as awesome as Concord? No way!

  • @250Trojan the UK went to america before france to see if they wanted to build the concorde. we were more interested in funding space technology...which got us to the moon. i feel as if that's a bigger achievement...

  • Whatever you say. Americans are only interested in profitability. Leave it to the Euros to create something so esoteric and pointless. Americans will always be for the masses not the elite few.

  • @jamesdewer Whatever

  • @jamesdewer --- Good point, well said my friend !

  • @250Trojan this is very true im from the united states weve had our leaps in aviation with the dreamliner and 747 and some other good stuff but we havent been able to duplicate how amazing the concorde was and most of the world probably wont be able to for a long time

  • @cupcakekevin277 Thanks. Nice to hear from an American who hasn't taken offence to my comment! (It was merely a comparison with the USA, as they are usually the world leaders at technology etc)

Also, my comment is aimed at the fact the the UK & France worked together and created somethign so special that the world loved and envied, whereas normally,m the UK & France are at loggerheads!!

  • @250Trojan-- DISASTEROUS WASTE OF MONEY AND LIVES !!

  • @DinoLucca1 What?? A collection of planes that collectively flew millions of miles (maybe even billions) for decades (not years, but decades) with the only unfortunate accident towards the end of it's life a few years ago - and that's a "waste of money and lives"?

If it was a waste of money, it wouldn't have lasted as long as it did. As for the waste of lives, you could say that about every plane accident - especially planes that have had several accidents before things were changed on them

  • @250Trojan A financial disaster, and a human disaster. No working class Brit could ever have afforded to travel on it, as I said before, A rich boy's toy that fucked up, big style !

  • @250Trojan -- R,I,P the poor passengers !

  • @250Trojan Why do have to mention Americans, this program failed so I wouldn't be so happy.

  • @weapons6 Because Americans are usually the world-leaders at most things - especially technology.

I suppose you think I'm an American-hater "because I mentioned Americans".....?

  • @250Trojan Its funny. Boeing must work hard because Airbus took the number one in sales record since 2000.

  • @weapons6 You are aware that it first flew in 1969? Perhaps you could point out a more successful SST with 40 years of service? It was perhaps not the most economically successful endeavor in aviation, but given its performance and the rather impressive duration of the program, I would hardly refer to it as a failure.

  • @250Trojan you just had to throw in americans somewhere in there.

  • @Airforceproud95 You think I'm an American-hater? Look at my profile for God's sake! I said that to use America as "the standard", seeing as they are the world-leaders in technology and engineering.

You mis-read a compliment to the USA as an insult. Re-read it and think about it.

  • @250Trojan I guess so.

  • @250Trojan ya im american and i think it is a very good looking aircraft its a shame they had to get rid of it, it was a very nice plane but im glad to see there are still some flying out there to this very day :)

  • @250Trojan

Maybe if you forgot to be the 52th states of the USA and you remember yourself that you are an European country (even if you are an island in Europe ^^) and your base, your origins, your history, your past thus but more important your present and your future & your interests are in Europe & in our Union of all European countries to keep the Master of our Destiny (Unity is strenght !), yes maybe in this case we could made numerous actions now beautifull like this of the Concorde...

  • @250Trojan Good Bless the Concorde

  • @250Trojan the plane was always taken down by the americans, these s o b

  • @250Trojan forgot WOII? the UK and France worked together aswell? :P

  • Roar of concord unmistakble :)

  • I used to go to that pub with my mum and dad when i was a kid. Its called The Airport I think. There used to always be a couple of blokes sat on the porch with the radio signal thing lol

  • is dat dhl

  • @ range2hander: LOLLL!!!

  • did you film this with a potatoe?

  • @range2hander I know right! I mean c'mon, this was only filmed 16 years ago. I can't understand why they were not using a £300 HD recorder and then streaming it over to their 50'' HD LCD Internet Enabled television...

  • 40mm is the best quality we have ever filmed in... (black and white era) oh and leave chuffernuts alone... I think he was just kidding.

  • Majestic :) too bad i never had the opportunity to see one.

  • @chuffernuts is a baby testa di cazzo ! HD AHAHAHAH

  • We need another SST airliner, but more of a practical one. Mach 1.8 would do. would allow you to go from one side of the earth to the other in a business day. ie 10 hours. or sydney to london. time to start lobbying Boeing and Airbus I think....

  • @Lastindependentthink I have a strange feeling Richard Branson is working on that :)

  • Mom!! When I grow up I wanna be a pilot

  • this plane is the best

  • @chrisowen

HD has been around for over 70 years. in fact any film made using film rather than tape can easily be converted to 1080p HD if not higher def such as super HD too

  • @StolenMonkey k, why dont they do that to old movies then???, i know they have remastered versions of some but they still suck

  • @chrisowen this was as HD as they could get

  • Nice rudder

  • Ahh the sweet smell of rubber and exhaust.

  • all those kids are about my age now :D

  • Concord was the safest plane to ever fly fact

  • @MrGlenfistoffury Except for not.

  • when i see this i think its a UFO it looks so different from other planes..Fantastic!!!

  • the concorde looks gold in the picture lmao

  • @chrisowen lol those were the days

  • @dinolucca1 Whats your problem with them I agree they were dangerous but you don't need to keep going on. Unless you lost a family member I don't understand why your so mad.

  • @cosmoc040599 they most certainly were NOT dangerous ... no more dangerous than any other plane!

  • If YOUR family had lost their lives on that stupid and dangerous "aircraft" you might be more sensible and sensitive with your comments !

  • @DinoLucca1 well you know plane crashes happen every once in a while, it wasent the plane's fault, it was the mechanic that just recently fixed or repaired it. just saying. the Concorde was a very great plane as in respect to how it got you to your destination fast. RIP to all people who had an unfortunate flight on this aircraft.

  • @DinoLucca1 the concorde was not a stupid and dangerous aircraft......

  • Rich boys toys. Flawed death trap !

  • @DinoLucca1 Are you fucken posting your shit comments on every single concode video??? FUCK OFF!!

  • @fcukkTube Yes, I am !

  • @fcukkTube Yes I am !

  • @fcukkTube Concode? learn to spell

  • Comment removed

  • @DinoLucca1

    What are you a "socialist"?

You're only jealous because you never got to fly in it!

  • @Chilternflyer ----- You are like Adolf Hitler, he too would have been proud of a machine that sent so many innocent people to their deaths !

  • 10th Prestige unlocks gold Concorde

  • top footage, love this plane greatest ever design beautiful

  • @MegaThecolonel Some coffins are beautiful too !

  • @chrisowen I live in manchester and i went to the Aviation viewing park thingy and saw the Concorde in the resturaunt bit.. Little bit pricy to go in the plane though.

  • WOW so legendary plane, and yet the most beautifull... still fealing sorry that those birds dont fly anymore :-(

  • @loumidis15 ----- It was a piece of metal FFS. It had so many flaws that it should NEVER have been allowed off the ground. So instead, maybe you should feel sorry for the innocent lives that were lost because of this piece of crap !

  • @DinoLucca1 yes friend absolutely agree, but i see it as an alternative on the airplanes that used to fly now and then..and i think its slightly different from the normal planes and that makes it exceptional

  • @DinoLucca1 You don't even know what you're talking about. First off, concord was airworthy as per its certificate. Second, the accident had nothing to do with a fault on concord ; it was merely because of a metal strip that fell off a crappy DC-10, something hazardous to ANY aircraft. I agree, the accident was tragic and claimed a number of lives, but the death toll was nowhere near that of far worse accidents, for example, the Tenerife disaster that happened back in 1977. Do some research.

  • @Nicmavr -- If you think that this was the only incident where concorde threw debris up to the fuel tanks, then You need to do some research my son ! THE DESIGN WAS FLAWED IN MANY WAYS ! people liked the "futuristic"looks, and the speed, so these crucial mistakes were overlooked. Even when a tyre burst, high speed metal off the wheel rim and rubber caused damage to a vulnerable and badly designed fuel tank. So check your facts, then think, would you let your family fly on it if it was back ??

  • @DinoLucca1 I'm very aware that it wasn't the only such incident, but I'm really not going to bother addressing your points because they're obviously biased and not brought up with proper research. If you want to debate that one with me, send me a private message.

  • @Nicmavr Let's agree to differ ! I still say you would be VERY nervous to fly in it if they brought it back without extensive modifications !!

  • @DinoLucca1 Yes and No, but that's not the point, they made the necessary modifications so what's the point of even arguing about that? If the aircraft is airworthy, that means it can fly.

  • @Nicmavr Good luck with that, if it ever happens, and you must be very rich !!

  • @DinoLucca1 Not really

  • @Nicmavr yes,,,, that's exactly what happened and nothing else,

thetires caught a piece of strip of metal from a wating DC-10, tires cought fire and then the engines sucked the debris into the intakes and it caused a fire when tire debris went thru the engine, nothing more nothing less

one of the SAFEST PLANES EVER DESIGNED AND BUILT.

flying for over 30 yrs with no mishap is something you RARELY SEE WITH MOST COMMERCIAL JET'S.

    .

  • @kirkconway However, the DC-10 wasn't save.

  • @kirkconway same thing happened to the valkrey (i think i spelled that wrong oh well)

  • @kirkconway The metal strip damaged a tyre which then broke up throwing heavy lumps of tyre at high velocity against the bottom of the wing fuel tank in the u/c bay which then sent a shockwave through the tank, (worsened due to the particular fuel load for that flight), the re-bound of the shock wave burst the tank floor (where it may have been weakened by the tyre fragments), and the loss of fuel became ignited, which destroyed hydraulic and engine control systems.

  • @kirkconway That's not what happened. A lump of tyre, which burst because of the metal plate on the runway, impacted the left wing with enough force to cause the fuel tank to rupture at the seams, the fuel was the ignited and caused the aircraft to crash.

  • @shaunsprogress naa mate , it went in the intake

  • @kirkconway

not to put down the concorde as much as I love it, but it's not fair to say that as there was only such a small number, therefore less aircraft to have a quirk or something to go wrong, plus both of them being operated by such high class airlines. on the other hand, they were extremely complex aircraft, so i suppose there is merit to your statement.

  • @kirkconway

Sorry, but you have no idea what you're talking about.

    1) The debris hit a fuel tank, not the engine, and did not go through it.

    2) There's no evidence of tires catching fire.

    3) Concorde was certainly not flying with "no mishaps," in fact, ship F-BVFC had a similar tire burst so bad that it DID punch a hole straight through the wing and engine pumping.

    4) Concorde had the LEAST safe fatality ratio after the crash (0.05)

    5) Again... you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @DinoLucca1 And BTW... claiming that concord was dangerous and should have never been allowed to fly.. you're talking plain rubbish, the plane had been in service for almost 30 years and with only one accident in its entire operational history. I think its safe to say that it had a much better safety record than most if not all of the commercial airliners in the skies today.

  • @Nicmavr

    WELL SAID BROTHER.

Id say then same thing myself.

and the same thing for the DC-3 and the Beech twin bonanza.

and also the Locheed SR-71 Blackbird.

  • i can't understand why they got rid of these. So 1 or 2 crashed! Big deal! It'll take a while to get all the bugs worked out.

Seriously, they should bring them back. They get you where you want to go in like half the time. Not to mention they're sexy as fuck!

  • Ive been to that pub!!!!
