I'm reading the book now.. I've learned so much. My father died about last year in December.. You get into that state of mind of thinking what the last months are like and how you have to "deatch" as Morrie explained in the book..
It's truly sad that these videos have so few views.... this one only 34235.... when it should be 10 times that.... I sincerely hope that everyone has a chance to see these videos, watch the movie or read the book.
@kristena710 Its interesting Ive just finished reading tuesdays with morrie so i went to find this interview and have watched the number of views deplete with each part. part one was up around 175,000. Everyone should read Tuesdays with morrie. Perhaps more than once.
I love Tuesdays with Morie I read the book over and over again and everytime i read the book i always cry, the story touched me so much it rminds me of my old friend :(
Ted Koppel did more to damage race relations in this country than anyone in the history of broadcasting. For over two-decades, Koppel used the vast power of his Nightline show to drill into millions of minds that Caucasians, especially males, are the absolute scum-of-the-earth!
He especially worked on blacks with his campaign of slamming Caucasians, hence we now have a black-on-white crime epidemic that's off the charts!
These days the Golden Piehole lives comfortably as a retired millionaire.
Ive only seen the movie and one thing he said keeps ringing in my brain. "Are you giving back to your community"? "Are you giving back to your community"? "Are you giving back to your community"?..... I dont think I am, but im looking...............
i only recently read tuesdays with morrie... and he was truly a great man.
he used his time with the living well... he used his time dying excellently.. effectively giving something to the whole human race that is worth learning about living.
he really was "lucky"...and his insights made made us lucky as well.
I hope to be like you one day Morrie. your knowledge has allowed you to live a life with a considerably reduced amount of fear. In the first 6 videos I have watched, I have learned much. Rest in Peace Morrie.
I have to admit, I don't understand everything (or most) of the thing you have said (perhaps because I'm too young and never thought about my own death).
But I believe one day your teaching will help me live a life that is meaningful and worthwhile.

Morrie, your teaching lives on.
I have to admit, I don't understand everything (or most) of the thing you have said (perhaps because I'm too young and never thought about my own death).
But I believe one day your teaching will help me live a life that is meaningful and worthwhile.
I hope you are dancing in Heaven right now.
May your soul rest in peace.
