@roush26 GT5 is like GT 4 on steroids. 71 different track layouts (compared to 53 from 4) 1,031 cars {some premium with interiors, some standard are GT 4 models upscaled} (4 had 700 cars) it adds nascar (for what it's worth). The tracks include several new rally courses, new original courses, new track courses... getting it depends on if that sounds worth buying to you. (and yes, it plays similar to 4 in that each car has it's own physics based upon data collected on the track)

GT might be the most realistic driving game (besides the non-crashes) but there's a point where realism detracts from fun. They crossed that point with GT4. I'll buy it as I have with every other GT but I am expecting it to be a pretty, yet boring affair.
@andrewjones1977 it just aint, 1st the graphics are 3 times better in gt5, 2nd coz of the way the career mode is organised, its much better and there's a lot more to it like off roading and nascar, 3rd coz of all the extra features like custom tracks n weather, and 4th coz of the number of cars. the only thing forza has on gt is u put watever artwork u want on ur car. but thats cool coz on gt u can still change spoilers, rims and body kits

In 2008 got a wii instead(still dont regret it) In 2009 I got a ps3 istead of a 360 instead and I still dont regret it. GT might be the most realistic driving game (besides the non-crashes) but there's a point where realism detracts from fun. They crossed that point with GT4. I'll buy it as I have with every other GT but I am expecting it to be a pretty, yet boring affair.

@andrewjones1977 it just aint, 1st the graphics are 3 times better in gt5, 2nd coz of the way the career mode is organised, its much better and there's a lot more to it like off roading and nascar, 3rd coz of all the extra features like custom tracks n weather, and 4th coz of the number of cars. the only thing forza has on gt is u put watever artwork u want on ur car. but thats cool coz on gt u can still change spoilers, rims and body kits

@andrewjones1977 u got it all wrong, when it comes to things like food or music, it's down to your preference. but with the graphics of these 2 games, they can be the same quality, or 1 is better than the other, u can't apply preference to this. whenever u see a forza pic, it just looks like a game with really good graphics. when u see some gt5 pics, they look REAL, sometimes the only way u can tell it aint real is by looking at the hud. that means gt5 has better graphics

@w1twicky yh but when u mention trailer graphics to them they're always like "the graphics are rendered, they're not actual gameplay". fuck's sake the way it looks in the trailers is the way it looks in gameplay! they never believe that, they do up the detail a little in the photo gallery, but gameplay still looks just as good coz it's in motion, ie, the same as in the trailers. either way forza graphics are no match. i don't get whats goin through ppl's minds, cant they see?

I loved the old gt's, and forza's late games will be out before gt6 as sony take there time, and im glad they do. GT will always be the best racing game because its not rushed they take time to analyse every detail of the tracks cars physics ect.... Forza is rushed kind of like modern warfare 2 that was rushed...
