Denmark is not quite `hell`, but it's on it's way there. Yesterday, another `BS` news report told Danish people than the reason the cost of food had risen so much was because of problems in Australia and Nigeria. Well then, that's okay then isn't it. The only reason there was such an uproar about this was because people started considering the video as an ad. It was an anonymous YouTube video. Suppose the source had actually been kept a secret which was undoubtedly the intention. It is not the kind of thing that would start attracting all kinds of pervs to the country. Only fanatics would on the basis of the video alone be ranting about this woman living immorally and on the edge of decency. This is not the kind of person that is presented.

I have been to Denmark and here are some quick observations: They are highly educated and most speak English THAT well. I did not see any single parent women. Danish women are very beautiful and friendly. I did not take their friendliness to mean I would easily hook up with them. In Sweden, on the other hand, I had more ummm, well you know.

I really hope that it was ad because otherwise it would be just too sad but I can't see how it is promoting tourism at all, even just to men. It seems to be much more a cautionary ad against having random sex because you might have consequences.
Otherwise, I really like Denmark and Danish people, though I'm not Danish myself. Denmark is lot less sexist than most of countries in the world, they don't really distinguish between promiscuous men and women morally.

It is only when people consider the source that they start to wonder how the woman is actually supposed to be perceived. There are really three things to discuss. First is the actual content of the video. As a concept considered, the video is brilliantly done. Second is the revelation of the source and how this could have been prevented. Third of course is the ethical issue of the concept itself - making and publishing an ad in this way. These things should really be separated in the discussion.

The only reason there was such an uproar about this was because people started considering the video as an ad. It was an anonymous YouTube video. Suppose the source had actually been kept a secret which was undoubtedly the intention. It is not the kind of thing that would start attracting all kinds of pervs to the country. Only fanatics would on the basis of the video alone be ranting about this woman living immorally and on the edge of decency. This is not the kind of person that is presented.

I have been to Denmark and here are some quick observations: They are highly educated and most speak English THAT well. I did not see any single parent women. Danish women are very beautiful and friendly. I did not take their friendliness to mean I would easily hook up with them. In Sweden, on the other hand, I had more ummm, well you know.

@zogz91 uuuuh no. Woman are not easy in Denmark. Well of course it depends on where you are and who you talk to but actually we have a lot fewer "sluts" than countries like Sweden and especially USA. On the other hand however, we does have very few prudes, and in general we do have more sex, because we are more open (not only sexually, but generally).
Also, we are A LOT more individual and doesn't go in packs like the stupid high school kids does in USA :P
