Dude, you make excellent tutorials. The facts that most of them are humerous makes me want to watch them over and over without having to worry about dying of boredom.
How do you set a marker in the sequencer window , lets say i want to note the breakdown of the sond, eg intro, verse hook, etc. is there a way to set placement markers to keep organized in the sequencer window?
thanks , i just thought it would have like a specific marker like protools and other daw's, But much thanks on the response and keep up the good info and tutorials. How do you record in the mixer just like you were explaining on the 1st part of this video . doing it live how is it done?
Just highlight the mixer in the sequencer. Then start recording and making changes as you go, like mute, solo etc. When youre done recording you will see the mixer changing values during playback. Remember; make changes on the mixer itself not in the sequencer.
I'm a FL user. For me its very simple but after looking at your vids, it gave me something to work with in reason. Is it a must that i have a MIDI keyboard to work with reason?
@kudamah yo take it from me, I'm a former FL user and they both have there pros and cons. However, FL studio is MUCH better if you don't have a MIDI controller so i would just stick with that, but I prefer reason with a controller
yo wasup elbow. Nice tut as usual bruv, you helped me so much when i 1st started reason, seriously watching some of your tut's was like crawling to walking.
But im having trouble with somthing bruv. Say i lay down some drums, but i want to put a reverb effect on the snare, but not on the rest of the drums BUT keep them in the same channel, how do i do that bruv? Because right now, im just using different combinator channels for Kicks, Snares and Hats, and its costing me a lot of time
i know what u mean man :D

Just use the color code process to mark these areas. You also have the ability to add text to each clip.

No, but it works best with a midi keyboard.

Thanks. I'll work without it for now and see how that goes but i will get one eventually once i fall in love with the program.
Peace bro.
