I like this cover version, the sujet fits well into the death metal genre and the adaption into the death metal style adds to the piece while still close to the original version. The refrain with the singer shouting at the top of her voice combined with the heavy guitars seem very adequate to the scandal of death as expression of topmost emotion still unsufficient to wake the dead and hence helpless. Song at Youtube suffers from the mediocre sound quality.

There's only one song by Opera IX that I like. It wouldn't be so bad if she didn't scream. I like her voice until she starts sounding as if she's trying to get everyone's attention in a noisy bar. If she can do that crap and make it in the music world than maybe I could as well.
