  • SUHWHEET!!

  • I LOVE this version of the song, Eric Clapton is amazing but what really sets this off for me is the AMAZING slide work that Doyle Bramhall is laying down behind him... what an amazing sound!!

  • Thank you. This is my favorite rendition of Layla. Clapton is an amazing artist- not because he can just play it so well, but he puts his soul in it. The music comes alive in his hands. Truly a pleasure to watch- like Yo Yo Ma playing the cello.

  • Or just download the YouTube downloaded saves as mp3 video whatever u like!

  • One thing I've always noticed about Clapton (& other exceptional artists) is 1.) their instrument seems like an extension of their bodies 2.) they make it look easy (it is anything but)

  • i honestly think Layla (in my view) is an eric clapton MASTERPIECE from the exception of wonderfull tonight

  • This piece was written by Rita Coolidge and Jim Gordon,,Mad Dogs Baby! When my Grandma died this peice trancended my hurt into a realm of peace and tranquility..so it was good that Life has it's course. Amen?

  • where on earth can i find a download of the actual piece that was included in Goodfellas?

  • i dunno, its not that hard.

just look up layla coda, or layla piano, or layla exit

or even just get layla and then use a prog like audacity to cut off the part that you want.

  • Use Firefox browser. Download the "Unplug" plugin. Find the video on youtube. Download using unplug. May have to rename the file extension to the appropriate one for your player (i.e. *.flv).

  • Goodfellas credits maybe?

"Jimmy was cutting every link between himself and the robbery...

...It made him sick to turn money over to the guys who stole it. He'd rather whack them. What did I care? I wasn't asking for anything. And Jimmy was making nice money through my Pittsburgh connections. Still, months after the robbery they were finding bodies all over. When they found Carbone in the meat

truck he was frozen so stiff...

...it took them days to thaw him out for the autopsy."

  • @SkubaLee I know the piece you're looking for!!

It's the original recording with Derek and the Dominos!:)

You've prolly found it by now, since it's two years since you wrote this, but i thought i'd tell you anyway:)
